Unlike the one I had before, this seems to be able to handle 4k@60Hz without any artifacts. So far I have had no issues. Three things prevent me from giving it 5 stars: - the power LED is pretty bright and distracting - it doesn't come with a power adapter. I'm not sure it needs the 5VDC in; it may get enough power from the HDMI inputs, but it seems good to have that for stability. Includes a USB cable for power but no adapter. Not a big deal, I used an old 1A iPhone charger. - doesn't seem to pass through HDMI audio. This is the biggest negative, and almost cost 2 stars. ... show more

Does the job. The light on the front is really bright red. This sits on my desk, so I had cover that. With this KVM working as my "many-device" port for the second bottom monitor, it is refreshing to see that it removes the necessity of having a keyboard & mouse for each device. KVMs are typically limited in how much refresh rate they can offer, so specifically setting what you need to one monitor I find works well. Note: You do not need to have a USB-B for each device in the KVM; that will only allow for two things if you're interested which is being able to use the inserted USB devices & showing a U light status when it's 'ON', but the port is not selected. ... show more

Packaging was simple and obvious. Setup was easy- i bought this specifically to replace an old device that failed, so wanted usb-b connections on the device, as i already had those cables run. Although there is a usb-c 5v power input, that is not included in the box. It does power itself off the input usb cables, so no issue there. There is small but noticable delay when switching inputs. Not a big deal for me. The device does not support “wake on keyboard” ( at least for me) so that is a small disappointment and why the device loses 1 star. ... show more

    • Did not like USB ports on the front
Working as advertised for the past year, but ultimately replaced it with another model that didn't have the USB ports on the front. Having the USB cables on the front is not a clean look. I also wish it had a remote because when you push a button the unit likes to move because its so light.
