I saw some other reviews for this item that had issues, but this KVM switch worked right out of the box. That is, with one caveat; all my DP cables are Ivanky, VESA Certified DisplayPort Cable 1.4, 6.6ft (B07VVJZJ2P). The reason I used those cables is some of the other reviewers had problems with the included DP cables. I've had good luck with Ivanky DP cables so I stuck with them. I have a mouse and keyboard (both wired for now) using the USB 2.0 ports and a web cam on the USB 3.0 port. All three interface well with both computers. If there is a downside, I found the switch to take about 5 seconds which I think is longer than advertised. But for me that's a welcome change from re-cabling each time and this is a minor issue. One feature request would be to include ports for a 2 x 1 audio output jack switch as well. This isn't a big deal, I just have to remember which computer my speakers are hooked up to.

The product is good! I had trouble at first because one of my monitors only had VGA and not HDMI and all VGA to HDMI adapters and cables don’t work. I replaced one of my monitors with an extra one and it’s now working great! Expect to do a lot of cable management. Now I can switch from my computer to my work computer with ease. Only issue was a monitor screen would flicker but not anymore. I’m guessing I didn’t have it connected all the way. Several months later and this is one of the best investments I’ve made.
