This is my first experience with a full face snorkel mask. I like the soft silicone seal; it conforms well to my face and does a good job of minimizing leaks. The silicone is a bit sticky even, and you can see from my photos how it attracts dust (not a problem when wet, though). The top and sides fit like a traditional mask, but the bottom extends to the jaw ridge just below the mouth. There is an inner pocket that surrounds the mouth and nose, and feeds into the snorkel mast. The mask fits very comfortably, and has individual adjustments on all four straps. The strap buckle, at the back of the head, makes it very easy to put on and take off. Visibility is very good; the snorkel tube rising between the eyes is not much of a visual hindrance. The action camera mount is a nice feature, so you can record your adventures and keep your hands free. I used this mask on a whale shark snorkeling adventure in the Philippines recently. My observations from this trip are: - Since the mask is sealing against your chin, you have to be careful about opening and closing your mouth, since this moves your jaw and can affect the lower seal. - This mask is not as well suited for below-surface swimming as a traditional mask. Since the snorkel is a physical part of the mask, the water flow on the snorkel mast translates to the mask itself and causes it to move around a bit, which can result in small leaks. - The snorkel mast angle sits low against the top of the head, and extends quite a distance rearward. It works best when you are floating horizontally in the water. If/when you take a more vertical position, and if you try to look upward, the mast end is so low that it dips below the water and seals off. This causes a rather jolting sensation when, on the surface, your air supply is unexpectedly cut off. All in all, this was a worthwhile learning experience for me; I'm glad I tried it, and as I use it more, I'm sure I'll become more accustomed to this style of mask. The view is clear, and the strap is well designed. In my opinion, I feel this mask is best suited for calm floating water adventures rather than more active swimming and maneuvering. I like the small 'footprint'. If I were carrying this somewhere it would take up less space. It's easy to extend the snorkel itself but a bit difficult to connect it correctly to the mask and the small plastic piece that holds the snorkel in place against the plastic of the mask is most certainly a weak point. I don't know how long the 'seal' will last between mask and snorkel, though I suspect that's a direct function of how many times you take it on/off or carry it by the snorkel. Seems like it's eventually going to wear down and leak... but it's hearty now and takes some effort to mount it securely. The rubber around the mask is smooth does a good job of staying 'connected' to my face. The face felt small on land but it fit and worked well in the water (nice wide view). I like the dry snorkel functionality and that worked well. Several of my friends tried it out and had similar good experiences. The two week points we all noted are on the snorkel itself: the plastic piece that connects the snorkel to the mask (mentioned earlier) and the small clasp that you clip/unclip to folder/unfold the snorkel. It's functional and would be a good space saver, but it's not perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to take it with me to the islands. ... show more

We are really happy with this snorkel mask. It was pretty compact and we took it to Hawaii and it worked in the pool and in the ocean. No water came into the mask, which is a good thing. It's worth the money.

The mask has a good feel and fits my face well. I like the design and the hinged snorkel which makes it easier to pack The straps adjust easy and hold well. The lenses are clear and easy to see through.

I haven't had a chance to really test this out yet as the pool is still too cold. I did try it out by sticking my head in a bathtub of water. I think it will take a bit of getting used to, with the full face mask, but it seems well-made and like it would seal well around the face.
