This facemask-and-snorkel combination is a winner. It's an integrated unit that fits over your entire face and has a built-in snorkel, i.e., it's not a two-piece with a separate face mask, and a snorkel that fits in your mouth. It's made from clear polycarbonate, so the wearer can see 180 degrees, unlike most face masks that obstruct side vision because the fitting portion of the mask is generally an opaque material. That fitting portion is made from silicone in this mask. It's fog-free design works, which means you don't have to keep removing the mask to rinse fog from the inner surface. It took me a few minutes to adjust to the mask because you are breathing in and breathing out inside it. This can seem a little scary at first; especially so if the mask is not fitted precisely and water leaks in. It took several tries to fit the mask snugly enough by adjusting the fitting straps. Even then, thin runnels of water trickled down the inside of the mask face and collected in the bottom in the mouth area. These runnels were caused by my long hair, some of which was trapped between my forehead and the mask. The trick to keeping the mask clear of any water is to breathe in through your nose and breath out strongly through your mouth. A little explosive breath helps. Once you get on to this, no problem. A caveat about this mask is that the snorkel is attached to the mask by a silicone strap. Pulling the snorkel free from the mask proper and folding it inside the mask allows for easier storage. When this is done, only that silicone strap now attaches the snorkel to the mask. If the strap is very strong, it will presumably last forever. If it turns out that multiple foldings when the mask is not in use wear the strap and it breaks, then the unit would be useless. Should this happen anytime within a year or two, your money will have been thrown away. We'll see. I'll get back to this review and downgrade from five stars to one should this occur.

As a rule I like these full face mask/snorkel combinations. They have good visibility, as this one does, though there is a slight distortion where the glass bends. You can see that in the first picture. It has three valves built into it for expelling air. The rubber is what I expect from a mask. This mask is a bit longer in the face than I’m used to and it leaks a very small amount as a result (your face may not notice this). The snorkel is held on by friction as you push it onto and over a seal. I like that the snorkel can fold for packing purposes. It comes with a nice mesh bag. The thing I don’t like about this is the way it is held to my head. The straps feel odd and cumbersome and feel like they will stretch out quickly. Still, it’s nice and functional - as long as the straps hold up. I initially had some trouble with the dry top setup … it stayed closed… but it eventually ‘loosened up’ (no idea how or why) and is working fine unless I breath in real heavy or deeply - no trouble with my normal breath.

This snorkel mask is made of good materials and feels soft on my face. I was able to fit the mask so there was no leaking and breathing was easy and comfortable. Even though I was able to adjust so there was no leaking, the upper part of the mask did not feel comfortable, as if it didn't fit evenly around my temples and forehead. It worked well swimming on the surface and looking around which is what I want but, whenever I dipped a little deeper, the valve in the snorkel just wasn't working correctly and water would start coming in. The little ball is in the snorkel and I can hear it rattle around but for some reason it just didn't make a good seal.

This was my first experience with one of these types of snorkel masks. It's made to completely cover your face which means you can breathe through both your nose and your mouth. This is easier for me than the traditional setup because I always had trouble breathing only through my mouth. But I love to snorkel so I always made due. Now I can do it much easier. Fitting the mask to your face can be a little tricky. But with some mild extra effort through trial and error, you can get a pretty good seal. The whole setup is a little bulkier than what is normal. But that comes with the extra viewing area. The mask comes with a bag for storage and transport and the snorkel is semi-removable to allow for more compact stowage. The quality seems to be good. Hopefully, the mask will last a long time. Overall I am very happy with it.

When my head goes underwater, my 62 y/o body/ brain just refuses to breathe. So it's always been a problem for me to use the old-fashion / typical mouth breathing snorkel. The addition of anxiety / panic feeling prevents any chance of using the snorkels at all. However, this mask seems to help with this quite a bit for me. I'm still getting use to it - and only in a pool at this point - but the full face enclosure, a wider field of view, and no mouth tube seems to have reduced the anxiety / panic for me, allowing me to start to re-train my body and lungs. I feel a little more comfortable, not really at the relaxed state that I hope to get to - perhaps with more time. I find the mask comfortable to wear, and easy to adjust, so that helps me keep using it. Plus it appears we have a crack somewhere and so a small leak ... this mask will be key in finding it.
