This facemask-and-snorkel combination is a winner. It's an integrated unit that fits over your entire face and has a built-in snorkel, i.e., it's not a two-piece with a separate face mask, and a snorkel that fits in your mouth. It's made from clear polycarbonate, so the wearer can see 180 degrees, unlike most face masks that obstruct side vision because the fitting portion of the mask is generally an opaque material. That fitting portion is made from silicone in this mask. It's fog-free design works, which means you don't have to keep removing the mask to rinse fog from the inner surface. It took me a few minutes to adjust to the mask because you are breathing in and breathing out inside it. This can seem a little scary at first; especially so if the mask is not fitted precisely and water leaks in. It took several tries to fit the mask snugly enough by adjusting the fitting straps. Even then, thin runnels of water trickled down the inside of the mask face and collected in the bottom in the mouth area. These runnels were caused by my long hair, some of which was trapped between my forehead and the mask. The trick to keeping the mask clear of any water is to breathe in through your nose and breath out strongly through your mouth. A little explosive breath helps. Once you get on to this, no problem. A caveat about this mask is that the snorkel is attached to the mask by a silicone strap. Pulling the snorkel free from the mask proper and folding it inside the mask allows for easier storage. When this is done, only that silicone strap now attaches the snorkel to the mask. If the strap is very strong, it will presumably last forever. If it turns out that multiple foldings when the mask is not in use wear the strap and it breaks, then the unit would be useless. Should this happen anytime within a year or two, your money will have been thrown away. We'll see. I'll get back to this review and downgrade from five stars to one should this occur.

We went on a cruise in the Bahamas a few years ago and I wish I would have had this snorkel mask then. This mask is easy to put together and adjust for fit. It has a full face mask so you can see all the way around when wearing it. This mask comes with multiple vents to keep the mask from fogging up and keep air flowing. The snorkel also has a dive ball in the top so when you dive it keeps water from getting into the snorkel. Basically, this snooker mask has it all. I wore this around the house about 20 minutes while testing it out (it was still too cold to take in the pool) and the mask never fogged up, it was comfortable, and breathing in it was easy. It also folds up to store and comes with a bag to keep it in when not in use. The next time we get to the clear waters around the Bahamas this will be my snorkel for sure. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to snorkel.

Let me start off with saying this is a bit of an incomplete review, and that is because I could not get the mask to seal beyond anything deeper than 6" in water. I love the concept of the mask, a wide view and the ability to breath without having something in your mouth. However, anything deeper than 6" and the mask would begin to leak, and that was forcing the mask on as tight as I could with both the straps in addition to pressing it manually. The rubber seal on the interior is very low profile, and the mask is made to fit around/under the chin. As such the shape and contour of your face have to match that profile to get a good seal (If you have facial hair you should pass on this). The mask fogged easily (so much for being anti-fog), and it takes some finagling to get the water out, because you cannot simply tip and dump the water out like a normal mask (due to the internal silicon lining). I also had trouble getting used to the snorkel gravity ball function and had difficulty in breathing in general, but that could be partly to having to deal with the water leakage. There are one way air vents on the bottom and side of the masks for air to extrude that I suspect were impacted by the water leaking in. The silicon part that bridges the nose does nothing except block your view- it doesn't prevent water or keep the mask from fogging in the eye/visual area... I suspect it is there for comfort if you have a longer profile face or nose. I would have cut it out if I were able to use this mask. So my impression is that this is a knock off that you must take a gamble on fitting your face, and even if it does fit you may have trouble with breathing or fogging at depth... but am giving it 3 stars as a courtesy because the leakage made it impossible to test at any depth. So with that said I hope at least some of this feedback proves helpful.

Tested this out at our pool and must say that I love how simple and easy it is to use. Definitely an upgrade from the older snorkels where you need a mouth piece to breathe. Just swimming around on the surface, I didn't have any issues with fogging, but did notice that the mouth piece area can fog up after a while, but this still doesn't affect your vision. The anti-leak systems will definitely come in handy when we take this out to ocean with waves for our honeymoon later this year. Soo excited to utilize the wide Field of Vision when we get to swim with turtles!

I got this for a trip to Mexico. We had a hotel on the beach, right in front of the Mesoamerican reef. I was skeptical at fit of this mask, but once in the water, water didn't sip in at all. The breathing system is SO COMFORTABLE compared to mask and tuba systems. The mouth and nose are unrestricted and you don't have to put anything in your mouth to breathe. Just put on the mask and breathe normally. It's so much better than old system. Like night and day. The range of vision is also great with a large field of vision. The attached tuba doesn't let any water come in either. Even when waves washed over me, I didn't suck in any water. I used this mask for 4 days straight without any issues. Highly recommend.
