Ive used these to hang many items around my house, and everything is rock solid. I have my shower curtain rod mounted with these, and even with a 2 year old yanking on the curtain and practically hanging off of it, the anchors stay in the wall and the curtain rod doesn't budge

I needed to mount a surround sound speaker in a spot were a stud just wasn't near. I've used various drywall anchors with varying results in the past. Due to the location I wasn't able to use a snap-toggle or wing toggle design which are my usual go-to's for hollow drywall mounting. I've used the plastic versions of these screw in types before but they usually break on install or just don't leave me with a good feeling. These however are rock solid when installed. The speakers are ~8lbs and these metal wall anchors don't seem to even notice them hanging there. If you need to mount something in drywall, and you can't use a snap toggle for some reason, these are a pretty solid option. ... show more

very basic and easy to use and install. The only issue I ran into was stripping the anchor when installing since it is a fairly soft material (compared to metal at least). while I didn't stop the install, it might be an issue when trying to remove them in the future

Using these to install floating shelves was easier than using the anchor and screws provided by the shelf bracket manufacturer. The anchors really grip and make my impact driver make the hammer noise driving them all the way in. Don’t know about you, but that sounds to me like there’s resistance/grip there. ... show more

If you have never used drywall anchors like these you are defiantly missing out. You get TWO anchor systems with these. The threads created in the drywall ad the expansion from the screw after installation. I use Phillips screwdriver to punch a hole in the drywall. (this will also assure that there is NO stud behind where you are installing the screw-in anchor. Then use the Phillips screwdriver to screw in the anchor tight to the surface of the drywall. Then add the provided screw to finish. Neat! If you have to remove one for ANY reason it's easy to just unscrew it! ... show more
