Description

The Kurgo Rover Backseat Bridge is designed to bridge the gap between your front and rear seats so falling to the floor is never a problem for your pup. With a few simple attachments, this padded backseat bridge connects between seats to extend the width of the backseat, providing the extra space he needs for a happy ride. The fold-up center barrier acts as a wall if you stop short. Reversible from black to Charcoal so it'll match your car's interior. The dog car bridge platform measures 16"D x 52"W X 1"H. The Backseat Bridge is not recommended for gaps greater than 13" from the back of the front seat to the rear seat edge. Measure the width of your bench seat from left to right, and the distance of the gap to ensure it'll work for your vehicle.

Love this pet bridge! We bought it for our 70 pound dog and it works great our SUV. We took the dog on a 90 mile trip and she was able to lie down without falling into the foot well of the back seat. I really like that the center part is optional. We chose to leave it down so we could reach the dog as needed. It was super easy to install and stayed in place without issue. UPDATE: This backseat bridge worked wonderfully in our SUV. It definitely needs a dog bed, blanket, or quilt to cover the bridge as it comes only halfway over the seat. Our large dog was able to spread out and we traveled 6-7 hours for 3 days at a time. Definitely worth the purchase. My husband and I installed the produce in the backseat of our SUV. It appears stable but is weird in that the depth is only about half way back on the seat. We purchased this for a trip with our large dog. We plan to put his kennel bed on top of the car bridge for our trip. We have not use it yet but it appears it will be easy to use and make his ride on the seat more comfortable. ... show more

I was looking for something to extend the length of my back seat for my dogs to ride in comfort. I found exactly what I was looking for in this product! I have a Nissan Frontier extended cab. The back seats fold down, and I prefer that over letting the dogs jump in on my leather seats. However, with the seats folded, the dogs are really high off the floor and easily hoover over my shoulder while driving. This bridge is perfect. It provides a barrier from front seat to back seat, while providing a bridge over the floor boards in the back seat. I can still fold down the back seats, keep my leather from getting messed up by the dogs, and keep them safe while driving, while also giving them more room to move around and get comfortable on long trips. I've slammed on the brakes a few times, which results in the dogs ending up crashing into the floor boards. No fun for either of us. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It fit perfectly in my Nissan Frontier, (which has a rather large back seat) and held the weight of a 45lb and 57lb dog at the same time with no problems. I even like the fact that I can flip it over to show a khaki or a dark gray (black) side to match my interior. If you want to keep your dog safe during a car ride and prevent them from roaming around and getting up front, search no more. Definitely worth the money! After spending over 24 hours in the truck with my dogs while using this product, I can confidently say that this product is awesome! My dogs were comfortable, which made me comfortable. I didn't have to worry about them trying to get in the front seat or worry about slamming on the brakes and them ending up in the floor board. The Kurgo BS Bridge works very well. It is sturdy and works great. I installed it in our Chevy Tahoe and it provided a generous space for the pup. It did not span the full width of the seat in the Tahoe, but was still just fine. I had intended to get one of those hammock style things to keep our pup from sliding off the seat but this is a better option providing firm footing. It should hold up well, even when the pup reached 90 lbs. It is easy enough to install once you have the instructions. The ones in the box were in French! They are available for download from the website. Or they will email them to you. I think I spent 15 minutes getting it set and tightened up. The center section stands up as a guard to keep the dog from climbing in the front seat, and it worked fine. I put a rug over the top to cover it and the seat and headed out for a 4 hour drive. I shook off the panel after I removed it and it was fine to put away. ... show more

We bought this bridge so my 75lb dog would have more room in the back seat of our SUV. Contrary to what I have seen in other reviews, the sizing is fine. It easily covers the foot wells and goes at least 10 inches onto the back seat. Though we keep our front seats pushed pretty far back and this may alleviate any sizing problem. Though we do have a bigger SUV. My main detraction for this bridge is that it is not strong enough. I agree with other posters on this matter. Out of fear of breaking it, I never put that much weight on it. It feels a bit flimsy and not a bunch stronger than a cardboard box. We got around this by filling up the foot well with items and then pretty much resting this bridge on those items. This worked very well and my dog very much enjoyed the larger surface! ... show more
