I'm not sure if this jacket was marked down since winter is coming to an end (just under $40), but this jacket has been a heck of a deal. It's thick, and warm. The fabric feels durable amd the inner lining is soft & warm. Showed my wife this jacket when it arrived and she ordered 2 more for our boys since she didn't want to pass up the deal. It feels great! I have other heavy jackets but i don't wear them often since they can feel tight around the armpits or their puffiness can restrict movement. I have none of those problems wearing this. This gets a A+ for comfort. I haven't worn this in rain yet but it seems weatherproofed as well as my other jackets. My only knock against this jacket is it lacks buttons down the front. Usually jackets this quality have buttons to help relieve all the strain on the zipper. It's just a mediocre (plastic teeth) zipper holding the front together. Really hoping it holds up well since i love this jacket.

Really nice coat. Fits perfectly. The inside is super soft. It has little loops to catch your thumbs to keep the sleeves from riding up. I also like the that front closes with a zipper, snaps and velcro. This things blocks wind and keeps you warm!

Well designed and made form follows function. Zipper plus velco closures really keeps the wind out and the warm in - a must for cold weather hiking or skiing! Jacket is slightly long, again preserving warmth. Detachable hood a must for active wear. Nice faux fur warm lining. My Size is spot on with the chart, with ample room for a sweater or vest - but if you are at the edge of a size, recommend you order the larger size. The optic orange great for hiking in the wild, especially in wooded areas where hunting is seasonally permitted.

Good jacket just try it on just now fits good it’s pretty warms I’m going be wearing today since I just got it delivered see if it’s wind proof like it says and pretty heavy so hopefully it’s warm but i usually wear a hoodie under the jackets so . The jacket is quality, it feels sturdy, water resistant, and warm. The problem for me is that it is so called “Hunter’s Orange.” I expect this to be blaze orange but it is not. Compared to something that is blaze orange, this looks dull or faded. Most importantly blaze orange is reflective in low light conditions, it almost has a light glow, this does not. I would not recommend this for hunting or being anywhere near a hunting area in times of limited visibility. I noticed all this during hunting season. Getting late in the day and deep in the woods, there is a point when everything looks gray. It was at this point that I noticed that this jacket also turned gray and made me blend into the surroundings. I compared it to my hat which was blaze orange and it did reflect orange light.
