    • The Tent Didn't Pass The Test

The media could not be loaded. So I got this tent because the space and height was nice compared to others for the price. The quality of the materials seemed to be decent, and it was satisfying for a few days there, however as soon as the rain came, it all went to crap. Thankfully I was present when the rain started or it could have ruined a lot of my equipment. I was woke up by cold water dropping onto my cheek. As you can see in the video, water got through the rain fly and onto the inner tent. From there it just leaked through the screen part on top. There was more water on the screen part, prior to the video. I'm disappointed that this had happened, however there were a few other things that I did not like about this tent as well. During the day this tent becomes like a toaster oven 😂. Sort of expected though when you get a tent of dark color. Some may like that about the tent though. You can unzip all the sides for airflow if you like, but then you have like zero privacy. It is good at trapping heat in, so that could be a benefit in the colder months. Another thing I noticed was the zipper on one of the doors was difficult to zip up and down at times as it would get caught on the fabric and Id need to wrestle with that sometimes. Last thing I'll mention is the setup of the tent. You really need two people in order to put this tent up. Thankfully I had someone there who could help with that. All in all, the layout of the tent itself was not the issue, I actually like the layout of the tent, the issue was me being woke up by cold water on my cheek and having to make shift a covering over the tent and stay up to watch it so that the make shift covering didn't fill up a lot and collapse the tent in the process. Having to go out and back in the tent in freezing cold rain was not fun in the least let me tell you. I could have dealt with everything else, but leaking is not something that I can tolerate. Sure, I could go buy some tent sealer for it, but no, companies need to do a better job of testing their products and I shouldn't have to go out and buy something else to fix what should be standard on their product period. This tent is NOT Waterproof as is claimed in their advertising. Get better KTT! ... show more

    • How to set up… comes with no instructions.

Be ready to not have any instructions… tips for setting up. First font the longest fiber poles and x over the four corners. Then put the shorter thick fiber pole accords the middle. This forms the dome. Trial and error the plastic corners. The holes are different sizes to match the exact pole that goes there. Next the ridgid tent poles that hold up the dome are labeled with red and white stripes. The red ones are longer and go on the four corners and the white on the middle of the longer side. Then you’re ready for the tarp/fly. Find the two corners that don’t have a zipper between them. That is the back window. The small fiber poles go into the half moon windows on the sides. You install the poles inside the tent. There are two poles with pointy tips. Those hold up the awning at the front of the tarp/fly. Lastly stake down and pull the corners so the tent gets tight. This took me around two hours by myself on the first try. So be ready. Good luck Also the zippers are really cheap so be careful. ... show more

I was able to put it up by myself however the instructions are not the easiest to understand and the poles are not labeled. I also didn't put the top on yet which would need a second person. With that said it is a great tent, well constructed with lots of room.
