Guitar arrived today and it honestly surprised me. I am an old guy and don't get surprised easily, but this one got me. I was happy to see the action was nice and low and better than that it even sounds very good. I wasn't expecting it to be ready to play. I did just hydrate the fingerboard which was a little dry. I will change strings even though these seem fine. I just always restring all my guitars when they arrive whether an expensive Gibson or a very inexpensive guitar like this. No fret sprout and tuners seem fine too. At first i thought something was wrong with the electronics because no sound was coming from my amp. Then i realized my headphone was plugged in which mutes the amp. As soon as i unplugged the phones, i was amazed at how good this little guitar sounded and how easy it played. I recommend this guitar for anyone from beginners to pro's who want something to practice with and not have to worry about getting a scratch or whatever. Buy it! ... show more

I bought this on a whim. I was going to use it to practice guitar maintenance. I found that the neck had been finished and the strings were intonated. I could play it right out of the box. I'm not crazy about the pickups and may replace them in the future but this guitar would be great for a beginner. ... show more

This is a good deal for the price, overall better than I expected. After I did the setup on it (straighten the neck, adjust the action and intonation, adjust the pickups, dress the frets, and tighten the tone pot), I was pleasantly surprised, I use it for practice with a headphone amp. The finish on the body is good, had one small defect but not noticeable. The bridge is a bit funky but workable. The case and strap are not worth much, but I wasn't expecting much from those. ... show more

I bought this to use as a mod platform, figuring that at this price point I'd have to replace everything. Not so. There are no sharp fret ends, no dead spots, no blemishes in the finish, the pickups sound remarkably good and distinct from each other, it's well balanced so no neck dive, yet it's light. Would I say it's as good as a Strat? Heck no, but looking at value for money spent, it definitely rates five stars. All I can see that it needs is setup, new strings, and some fretboard oil. Much better than other affordable guitars I've tried. Stays in tune and the action is decent. Two pickups, three way switch for tone and body control. Worth a try, I don't regret this purchase at all.

Good beginner guitar at an affordable price. Lightweight. Neck has a nice feel. Pick-ups are decent for an entry level. Action of strings is a little high and needs an adjustment which is the biggest issue. I have not yet adjusted/set it up so hopefully it goes well. Looks great.
