Threw this on my tacoma, kept all the stock suspension. So it rode like factory, however shock upgrades would be great if you choose that route. Put on 17" wheels on 285/70r17 bfg all terrains. Easy install, no vibrations or noises, overall great cheap kit if you want the look for your tacoma!

Never installed something like this before. It’s took me and my friend about 3 hours while watching a few YouTube videos. Pretty straightforward. The only thing I didn’t like was the length of the ubolts. Waaay too long. Seriously, you’ll need a 6” deep socket to put them on (or crank with a wrench). I don’t do much off roading, but do about 300 miles a week mostly highway. Coming up on 2 years after install and I haven’t had any problems. ... show more

2016 4runner SR5 premium. I bought these wanting a 1.5" lift with the goal of having a .5" rake. Actually lifted 2" and it's exactly level front to back. Not sure if I'm going keep them since I don't want it looking tail heavy when loaded with gear or with my boat on back. For installation you need to unhook the sway bar links, disconnect upper ball joints, undo all brake line and abs wire brackets, loosen upper control arm pivot bolt to get the arm up out of the way. I unbolted the strut completely and it was still captive because the sway bar wouldn't get out of the way enough, I had enough room to get the studs trimmed and installed the spacers. This pic was before settling roughly 12 hours after installing; the 2” kit was not exactly level but close. Front will be slightly lower than the rear but better than factory in my opinion.

Works as advertised! good value. I put this on coz I want to see how my truck stance would be lifted and so far it doesn't disappoint. the bolts in the rear are a bit too long. Install was easy enough for one person with 1 jack and 2 jack stands and hand tools. It would be a lot easier and faster with a helper working with you. ... show more
