Depends on how much blackout you really need but I love them. They look great, feel luxe, not heavy at all, and blocks out the right amount of light needed to sleep throughout the day/night. First of all, I bought 2 panels for the bedroom in the fall. Loved so much, I finished off all the rooms except bathroom. Now. I have seen reviews re being blackout and are not. That is not what description says; it says room DARKENING which these panels do perfectly. I have room darkening (not blocking) blinds, so work great together.The other thing mentioned how short they are. Well, I don't find that so, in bedroom I have them through the 2nd rod opening, in the loft I went ahead and used the top opening (which is really the crown) looks great. In the living room, I have 1 in. black curtain rings on a black rod. I open and close them in that room Works great. My windows are 60 in tall, I bought the 63 in panel. Again, plenty of play. The last issue is re false assumptions, only one panel, and why are there not two. These are not tiers which are usually 2 panels in a package. But not always. Most drapery , better quality, is sold a panel AR a time. Very pricey. These are very cost effective. Great product Great price. ... show more

I'm very fond of velvet, particularly drapes, and this color is so pretty. Very very nice drapes for the price. I have these drapes in two rooms, plus dark brown ones in other rooms. My favorite drapes ever. Also, easy to launder.

The color is right for both panels. The price listed is only for one panel, so I was worried that there could possibly be a slight variation in color, but no problem. I’m glad that I went longer than what I measured. They feel nice. I don’t think that it provides the noise reduction that I was hoping for, but it does block out light. ... show more
