    • You get what you pay for, great RCA kit for car audio
Installed a system (two amps, sub, and 6 speakers) into my car last July. The install went well and I used Rockford Fosgate RCA's that came in my kit. Started to have some issues with my right front speaker, crackling, popping, worked as an installer for years and knew that it wasn't the speaker. Long story short the Rockford RCA's had slipped off, there was nothing to hold them onto the jack. I have used Knu-Konceptz's power wires for a friend’s car and while I was being cheap and trying to keep my personal costs down in the end you get what you pay for. These RCA cables were a lot easier to run as they were the 2 to 1 design couple that with the 4 channel set and you have just 2 thicker wires to run. The problem I was having with my right front speaker is gone (over a month ago) and hasn't come back, these RCA's hold well onto your amps and head unit and give enough insulation. Will use these now for future jobs and again you get what you pay for. ... show more

The price and length was right for this. Connectors and cable jacketing are high quality and I have very little noise being picked up, even on a 20' run past 110v power cables. Only drawback is that the main jacketing is extremely thick.... close to that of like an outdoor-grade extension cord. This makes the cabling much harder to maneuver and conceal, but overall I'm still happy with it. ... show more

all was good until I had to remove the twist on shell for the RCA end. found rubber boot torn a bit & actual wires a lot thinner than what one would expect. other than that they are fine & work as expected.

    • they grip tight but apparently thats what the best ones do
they grip tight but apparently thats what the best ones do. but i do struggle and worry when i have to pull them off. I have had bad ones that didn't grip and that is also frustrating. I like the thickness of the cable, i dont feel like i need to add techflex sheathing to it.
