We have two George Kovacs MCM sconces with curved glass shades. Years ago, we replaced the shades because the interior surface material flaked off the glass. They originally came with halogen bulbs, which we replaced with LED bulbs. One internet DIY showed making a rice paper covering glued to the glass shade interior. Looking closely at the glass, we decided they were painted, and the high heat of the halogen bulbs caused the paint to deteriorate. We couldn't find replacement shades last month. Since we had kept the old defective glass shades, we decided to experiment with paint. We sprayed two coats, and the paint has adhered to the glass really well. I can't speak for if this paint comes in the exact color you hoped for but I do know it comes in white and black. If you can find the color you want in this paint, then I would encourage you to purchase it. It easily covers a previous color or gives excellent coverage for a new project. I prefer to do a quick, light spray coat of paint, give it time to dry and follow it up with a heavier, even coat. I have bought more expensive, so called premium spray paint and ended up with sub-par results and frustration. This is my favorite spray paint and do recommend it to everyone. Great price, excellent coverage and amazing results. Plus, it is great for indoor and outdoor projects. Most of my projects are outside ones, and I’m always happy with the durability of this paint and how easily it adheres to every surface I have sprayed it on. Gray Gloss Only negative is it has the original style circular spray pattern nozzle, A bit harder to use than the wide pattern wand. But it covers great and is the only brand I know that doesn't fade outside (well haven't used all colors) . It is hard to find in stores everyone is taken in by the Rustoleum name I guess. The paint is fine, it does the job. My problem is, I'm an artist with increasingly extreme & painful arthritis. It certainly makes creating art even more challenging....so I didn't need another obstacle in my way. Krylon has made a cap that is nearly impossible and incredibly difficult to remove, especially for people like me. I have a passion for art and extremely painful arthritis. The cap on this can of paint is horrible. There is absolutely no need for a cap so hard to remove. I had to rate this low because people with disabilities have a hard enough time living in a world that dismisses us without a second glance...it may sound dramatic, but I'm personally sick of it. This product's packaging is part of the problem. Please. Fix this so we don't have to hurt ourselves just to OPEN your product. My hands still hurt many hours after struggling for a half hour to finally get the cap OFF. I was happy I was able to get the thing open but angry that my day was made worse because I ordered this particular brand of paint. If you have arthritis in your hands, I would shop around to see if the paint you want comes in a can with a simple cap that you don't have to squeeze (hard!!) together in the middle. ... show more

The color is super pretty and matches my kitchen cabinets almost perfectly (I bought it to paint a countertop compost container). Too bad it came with a broken lid - totally unusable - and some of the paint had already sprayed out inside the box.
