I painted glass vases for centerpieces at a golf event. I used acrylic paint and thought they probably needed a coating of some type. My internet search turned up Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating Spray. I followed the directions, used a disposable plastic sheet in the garage and sprayed the vases with one good coat. The vases did stick to the plastic sheet, but I was able to pull them off. I think I should have set them up on rocks or something like a spray can lid so that the glass vases didn't stick to the plastic sheet. It needs to be used outside. Fumes are strong with this one! easy application dries o touch in 30 minutes or so. Clear, hard, finish. good value to seal and make painted surfaces last longer. holds in the painted color. Used on painted wood that would be handled a lot.

Cheaper on Amazon than Michael’s. Easy to use. I used it for when I put mod podge on pictures and ceramic coasters, and after a few coats of this spray, it turned out fantastic.

I have used this product for years. When my adult children were very young, they made pine cone candle holders for me. Pine cones are not easy to dust! A couple of times a year I spray them with this product and they look like new. And the acrylic spray dries almost imedialely. exceptional acrylic spray finish! ... we used it to apply a waterproof, durable finish over the eyes of a couple airborne predator decoys for yard night patrol... we used Ultra Green V10 Glow in the Dark Paint 1/2Oz over each of the entire eyes, added a small gloss black pupil (acrylic gloss black from a Testor’s kit), and then finished with this Crystal Clear for a glossy, watertight, durable finish... it, not only achieved a durable finish to the V10 glow-in-the-dark paint and acrylic black pupil, but gives the eyes a moist, natural look, thanks to the clear, high gloss of this product! the results have been outstanding and we now have a couple pair of gently-moving, ominous, glowing eyes standing patrol at night! :-) | specific observations | • spray tip/trigger depresses smooth and easy • spray mechanism yields a very even, fairly slow mist .... not too much, not too little • dries fast and evenly, even if the application is not entirely uniform • dries to a very nice, very clear gloss • easy water clean-up lastly, this is a terrific product and we are very pleased knowing that our project has a durable, weathertight finish.
