I bought myself a really small live tree this year. It was about 3-4' from Home Depot and approx $50 delivered. I couldn't wait to decorate it. I thought it would really add a special touch to my home. I was so happy! I just got my tree and thank goodness I got this stand before hand. I bought the small one that fit it perfectly. The stand is really intuitive and easy to use. Don't stand on the peddle. You can use your hands to press to unlock the mechanism and then just gently push it (in one direction) a couple of times to open it. Then, you can put your tree trunk in it and then push the peddle to close it again.

O. My. Gosh! I have struggled with those hideous various stands that have the screws for 50 of my 70 years that took me forever to get just right, the frustration hours are immeasurable! Not anymore. This literally took me about a minute to get my tree in and clamped tight. Now I ordered the small as these days my trees are much smaller, about 5ft that is up on a low table in front of the window, so imagine it would take minutes more to get a bigger tree just eight but if anything like this size, it will be frustration free. It’s pricey but worth every penny. It’s very sturdily made, real heavy base and clamps look unbreakable. I did just put the tree up and it locked fine but I’ll keep an eye on as I see a review that said that slips off at times. If so I’ll put a bolt in just like he did. Like the water level indicator tho don’t care if that isn’t exact, I’ll use the old finger in test to determine if so! The reservoir holds a lot of water. I like that the diameter of this is not huge but so weighted it’d be hard to tip over. That’s what I was looking for since my tree is smaller and on a coffee table. Honestly, spend the money on this stand. You won’t be sorry.

I had the very large one (which held a 14' tree), my son though it was the bee's knees! I moved a few years ago and didn't need it anymore so he took it. When I moved back and could have a live tree again, he wouldn't give it back (well he would have :) ), so I purchased this one (probably half the size of my first one) and it is just as study, heavy and easy to use. It took all of 3 minutes to put my tree up and straight. I know it is expensive, but I promise you it is more than worth it! My original one is probably 7-8 years old and still is great working order.

I've never had a full size tree in my house, but since this year I won't be celebrating at my parents' house for the first time in, well, my life, I had to figure it out. I bought this based on the reviews where folks shared their horror stories of trying to set up a tree using one of the models I was familiar with from my childhood and I am so glad I did. I set this up by myself in five minutes flat (with my two kids screaming and nearly climbing on me and the tree in excitement) and it was so easy I assumed I had done it wrong. Nope, it's just that easy. It's sturdy and the tree is straight and I am excited to have it for many years to come. Amazing.

This is the by far the best Christmas tree stand you will ever buy. We already own an XXL stand. We bought this smaller one because we decided to get a small second Christmas tree for our family room. It is so easy to use, just set the tree in the stand, get it straight and step on the crank and tighten it in place. Lastly, flip the lock to lock the crank and fill the stand with water. Super easy! We have had our original XXL stand for over ten years and are so happy with it and our new one too. These are very high quality. It will be the last stand you ever need to buy. I highly recommend it.

Had a similar stand for years before it finally broke. Bought a different type and struggled the last two years before I finally found these again! Take my advice and get one if you want to take the struggle out of getting the tree up nice and straight with no effort, literally in a few minutes flat! My only regret is that I didn’t buy one size larger as this one is smaller and holds less water than the one that I had years ago. In my opinion, the best stands out there!

I remember the old days when my father asked me to hold the tree, while he tightened the screws on the old stand. He would yell and complain that I wasn't holding it right, and then it wouldn't be straight and we had to do it all over. NO MORE!! Now, with this stand - you hold the tree while standing up, use your foot to tighten the tree in the stand and viola!! The tree is up, straight and done. It's fabulous. Aside from the easy-up of the tree, the stand holds a gallon of water, so you don't have to water the tree every day. Simple, easy, reliable. I buy this stand for all new dads - to make their lives so much easier. It's my go-to first present.

This is brilliant. Best thing I have purchased in a long time. Worked exactly, and as easily as the instructions stated. Allows you to set up a live Christmas tree (by yourself) with little effort. Water indicator is neat but it needs a little work as it is easily pushed down. That would be my only critique. I have told so many people about this. Product and I will never use another tree stand again. It is a little pricy. $78.00 for the smaller one (5-6ft tree) but the product far exceeded my expectations.
