My son is tall for his age and the seat is set low, so I'd say maybe age 3-5 this would work well for. It is light weight so easy for him to pick up on his own when it falls over. The tires are like a solid plastic which I thought would be terrible but actually works very well and never have to worry about puting air in or dry rotting if it sits. 2 year old is obsessed this with this bike. He is too little to reach the pedals in his trike even with the seat at the lowest setting, but with the seat lowered all the way on this one, his feet reach the ground. He is still learning how to balance it himself, but is improving quickly and loves it with assistance. He’ll be “riding” it alone in no time! It was easy to put together- just a few steps.
