I ordered this to replace a rusted American Standard cast iron sink that had considerable rust. It was in a corner at 45 degrees to the cabinets, so space was very limited. I spent a lot of time carefully researching and looking at the specs and knew this might require a slightly larger hole, but it was close. The actual sink needed about an inch in each direction more space than the spec had me believe and it ended up being a lot more work than I expected. But it was so worth it. Because of the tightness of space it was impossible to use any of the clips that anchor sink to the work surface. The two stone worktops that meet in the corner were not perfectly horizontal and so it was impossible to get the sink perfectly flat, but silicone sealer helped minimize the rocking. The sink is very rigid. With very careful planning I was able to open up the hole with an angle grinder and the result is beautiful. My wife is so happy with the result she said “Now I don’t need a new kitchen!” making this the best $300 I ever spent! It’s perfect with a Kraus Oletto High Arc pull down sprayer. Also choose a Kraus disposal since the old unit was over 20 years old. It was impossible to use the mount clips due to lack of space. If your worktop is perfectly flat this won’t matter. This was my first sink install. If I were doing it again I would not apply silicone sealer to the sink per the instructions, but would apply it to the counter. This ensures the sealer is in the right place and also gives you something to hold as you lower it into place. Very Happy Wife, priceless! ... show more

My wife wanted to do a kitchen upgrade... I wanted to save some money. I bought a new sink, Kraus faucet, disposal, and dishwasher. The plumbing is easy, you can do it! Amazon delievered the package and looked like they dropped it off 5 feet off the flatbed directly on the corner... completely smashed the entire box corner... the sink only the smallest corner was bend (lead me to insane quality). I managed to bent it back (with a lot of effort) using a book on top as protection a plumbers wrench (not the right tool for the job, but it worked). Called customer service as I thought I was missing a part (I wasn't), but they immediately wanted to send me a new sink... I did not want to be bothered to remove, replace, and ship back the old one. The whole time, they were nice and friendly, they did expect me to respond within 3 days, (which is completely normal), but still worked with me as I am slow to response :D Install Tips: 1. PREMADE cut-offs are inside for ensure you have a solid fit! Be sure to be accurate not "not close enough" as you need those extra millimeters. :) 2. I used "silicon" for sealing underneath the sink... I wish I had applied Plumber's Puddy directly to the countertop instead, then dropped it in! Silicon was everywhere, but came off without an issue. 3. Remember to "air gap" your dishwasher drainage hose by looping hose above the lowest point of the sink and back down. ... show more

It says undermount or drop in. But when you go under description it says drop in only, most of the time on solid surface countertops you do a drop in only, but it feels like a real nice sink. really sturdy, low Center divider, rounded corners, water run out guides.

I love this sink and the extra accessories that are included. The only gripe I have are the under sink attachment clips. The clips do not have a tightening range that is sufficient for a standard countertop. I ha d a custom laminate countertop installed with the sink hole pre- cut out exactly to the template that comes with the sink. Once you attach the clips to the sink and drop it in the clips run out of clamping range about 1/4” before they contact the bottom side of the countertop. I had to cut some wood blocks / shims to put between the clip and the bottom of the countertop. Even after doing this I used silicone caulk under the sinks outer edge and it was partially set up before I had the shims in place 1/2 hour, and even with the shims the clamps didn’t draw the sink down very good. Also due to how deep the sink is you need a very long #2 Phillips screwdriver to reach the screw on the clips. G Moskwa ... show more
