We’ve purchased this sink twice because we love it so much!! We put it in our kitchen remodel a few years ago, and just installed it again in our new house when we moved. It’s a great 60/40 sink. It’s quiet, and deep. I love the drain basket that allows water to drain even when you have food particles. It holds all my large pans for washing. It’s easy to keep clean. It’s durable! I was very hesitant to buy something on line that would be around for years. I would normally prefer to see and touch it. I was extremely impressed with the sink though and very glad I made the purchase.. This sink is beautiful and it appears to be of excellent quality. It is coated in some sound proofing membrane as well as the additional patches for the sides. Packaging was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a Stainless Steel sink. Installation was fairly straightforward. I was concerned with the drains because they are to the rear and the sink I replaced had the drains in the middle. Even with the disposal I put back on there was plenty of room and now that plumbing is further to the rear freeing up more usable space in the front of the cabinet. Some reviewers said they received a 4 hole sink and had to return. I did not have this issue. I received the exact sink as pictured with a single hole. If your on the fence I would encourage you to go ahead and purchase this. ... show more

Love this sink. I'm a remodeling contractor finally getting around to my own house andI felt obligated to use known brand products on customer projects but willing to try unknowns (to me) at home. So far this is by far the best stainless sink I have ever installed. The sink arrived in flawless condition extremely well packaged. It had surprising weight, felt very solid, and the rubber padding was quite thick and cleanly installed. They use a common mount with a U channel under the rim quite close to the edge leaving about ¼" lip so it is very likely that your cutout will need to be enlarged. In my case that involved a diamond cutter and a lot of dust. Please get someone that knows what they are doing if you cut too much you can't put it back. I deducted one star simply because they used the same mounting method as many other manufacturers use and it sucks. I wish someone would put some thought into a better sink mount. The bowls are really great with the small one being close to the same as both bowls in my old sink and the large one is ...well large. The timing didn't work well with me needing help to remove my old cast iron (very heavy) sink so I was sinkless for about a week and after installing this sink I thought I should soak the weeks dishes so I loaded them in the sink, I loaded ALL of them. I have just installed it so I can't speak to wear but its heavy gauge stainless with proper care what could happen? ... show more

    • It's a 5 star, but...
Well, it's a nice stainless steel sink, and I like the scale and the 60/40 split. It replaced a 32" porcelain on steel 40 year old sink, so this sink appears to me as 'commercial grade'. The biggest detractor for me was the installation; it dropped in to a new porcelain tile over backer board counter, and the fact the cut out has rounded corners, and it is only 1/2" less than the overall dimensions of the sink, (meaning a measly 1/4" clearance left to right and front to back). It all made for a challenging install given that I was using12" X 24" tile. I used something similar to poster board as a template for each piece of tile surrounding the perimeter of the sink, and I did get it right without wasting any tile. However, I truly wish there was more clearance from the lip of the sink to the edge of the u-channel used for cinching it down. Also, for me, it was a bummer that the mounting hardware only allows attachment to a counter top max thickness of 1-1/2". Given that I have 3/4" plywood, 1/2" cement board, 3/8" mortar bed and 5/16" tile you can see that I was at 2". My fix for that was to by 2-1/2" t-slot bolts and grind the heads down to a width that would fit the mounting channel, and drilled out the threaded portion of the clips so I could at least use those. For the price this sink would be hard to beat. The appearance is flawless and it comes with nicely done drain hardware, something which most manufacturers don't provide. The drain hardware included an extra deep with removable handled basket and a standard sized. I purchased this sink as a replacement for an expensive failed Kohler cast iron/porcelain unit and that led to one little problem that most people wouldn't see -- the existing counter cutout was too small for the Kraus which has an extremely thin lip outside its mounting flanges. Trying to enlarge the opening in my tile-covered countertop was an ugly messy process to say the least. The packaging on this sink was exemplary; I've seen military equipment being prepped for air drops which didn't have this much care taken. One very minor negative with the Kraus was the instructions. For anybody who has done sinks before it won't matter but little things like the instructions telling me "install the mounting clips where illustrated" when nothing of the sort was illustrated could lead the totally uninitiated into trouble. Oh, and those mounting clips are suitable only for a "normal" counter and wouldn't work with mine which are a full two inches in thickness. Gravity and good silicone sealant will do the job even without the clips though ... show more
