I was ready to place multiple orders for this product based on others reviews but mine arrived in perfect condition. Not a scratch, chip, or crack. The seller even sent me a Fed Ex letter letting me know it was on its way and how to contact them if there were any problems. I am inclined to say they are actively addressing the shipping issue. On to the sink itself. It is BEAUTIFUL. Matte black with teeny tiny sparkles in it from the granite dust that pick up flashes of colors (the window by my sink gets a lot of sunlight). It is extremely durable with a smooth surface. I have cleaned it and oiled it as others suggested and I wipe it dry after use with the shammy that came with it. This sink was installed as a drop-in by my contractor per my request. It's difficult to find a nice drop-in style sink nowadays. I'm really glad this came with the option to install either top or bottom mount. My contractor was really impressed with the quality and it installed easily for him. It came out beautifully, and I'm so glad I got it! It arrived very quickly, was undamaged, and installed easily. This sink is awesome! The color is awesome and the bowl is so big and roomy. I love single bowls over double bowls. This Kraus sink looks amazing in my kitchen. I top mounted on formic a and it came out great. This think is super heavy duty and the basin is plenty large enough. The only con that most people will complain is about is it doesn't 100% drain because of the squared basin, but it doesn't bother me at all. It's barely any water. INSPECT THIS SINK FIRST! I give this review a 1 star because the installers for our new counter tops noticed this sink had cracks in 3 corners. We returned it and the replacement had the same 3 cracks in the same corners but smaller (?MANUFACTURING DEFECT?) . We had to go through the place we got our counters to actually call this company, have them open the box and inspect the sink before shipping it. We had to go without a kitchen sink for almost a month. After it was finally in, I would give it 4 stars, it's a nice sink. ... show more

I wanted an undermount sink but it was going to cost $1500 to have the edges of the granite countertop finished as it currently had a drop in from previous owners. I LOVE this sink! I had a sink similar to this in our previous home, so I knew that I wanted one again. I researched and read review after review and finally settled in this one. I ordered early because most of the reviews said the first ones came cracked or damaged. I am very happy to say that our first sink was delivered undamaged and in perfect condition. We installed it right away, which was super easy to do. I love that it came with the basket and drain. In fact, that is one thing that sets this sink apart from others--the drain and basket that come with it are DEEP so it's so much easier to clean those dishes that have stuck on gunk....without worry that the gunk will go down the drain when you're cleaning the sink out. I will absolutely recommend this sink to my friends and family and will watch for more Kraus products. This is very high quality for a decent price! ... show more

I like this sink very much. It looks sharp in a darker brown counter with almost white cabinets. It arrived well packed and in apparent good condition. We had to make some cabinet modifications to make it fit, but it is exactly the size I wanted to be able to wash larger pans. We do not yet have the faucet installed so am hoping there are no hidden flaws that will allow it to leak. ... show more

It's been a few months now, but very pleased with the sink! Looks and functions great! I put it in my rv, got rid of the crappy undermount stainless, had to do some modifications to the countertop, love the results Some others said theirs was damaged, but mine came in perfect shape
