If you are a beginner and are self teaching be careful. While this product seems well built and is comfortable enough, the one things you won't find in your research is that when you pull back your bow string, it comes back beyond the end of this guard. It's much much easier and less painful to learn to turn your elbow than to have the bow string get caught on the end of this closest to you because of it does you not only have string rash, but you'll feel like you just tried to rip your hand off at the wrist when this thing takes off with the bow string at full force. It took a lot of searching for me to find the very very simple lesson of turning your elbow out to avoid the string. Shooting clean since. Product is well built which is why I have three stars. Warning labels and or am instruction sheet that hints towards the possible dangers would have warranted a higher score however it literally came in a box and clear wrapping without any paperwork whatsoever

I bought these for a different purpose then shooting. That being said, the protective protion is nice and rigid, and the elastic straps worked really well, I was able to wear these all day without any slippage and they were extremely comfortable.
