    • Fun hands-on sewing kit for kids
Color: Puppy & Kitten
We got this sewing kit for our daughter, and it has been such a fun project for her. I like that it gives kids the opportunity to learn basic sewing skills while making something they can actually keep and enjoy. The puppy and kitten designs are adorable, and the project is engaging without feeling like just another craft that gets finished in 10 minutes. The instructions are helpful and make it easier for kids to follow along and understand what they're doing. I also appreciate that this is an activity that encourages kids to slow down, focus, and work with their hands. It makes a nice alternative to screen time and would be a fun project for a rainy afternoon, homeschool/after school activity, or gift. The age recommendation seems appropriate, although younger children may need some adult help getting started or with trickier parts of the sewing. Overall, this is a cute and worthwhile craft kit for kids who enjoy animals and want to learn some basic sewing skills. ... show more

    • So much fun.
Color: Woodland Animal
We recently brought this kit on an extended-family trip with 4 families. I had all the kids pick out an animal and I either helped them put it together or I offered to make the stuffy for them (especially the really little ones.) They were a HUGE hit. It kept the kids busy for a couple afternoons and everyone had fun. I had ages 4-10 assembling them with me, and I sewed the ones for the younger ones. The little stuffies that my two kids made were what they chose to bring on the first day of school this fall to share about the best parts of their summer break. So sweet!! As for quality, I will say the parts that you stick on with the peel-back adhesive parts stick pretty well. I was surprised. They're not super duper snuggly, but they look adorable and it didn't bother any of the kids at all. The edges are a bit scruffy. The assembly was extremely easy, and the booklet had great instructions with pictures. ... show more

    • Fun sewing project for kids
Color: Woodland Animal
Two of my granddaughters want to learn to sew but l don’t think they are ready, yet. So l decided to try this sewing kit. It is very basic but good for young children to start with. They love sewing the animals together and stuffing them. The animal characters are cute. The sewing “needles” are kid friendly, they are a good size, plastic, with a blunt tip; perfect for kids. ... show more

What a great introduction to sewing for little hands! I had a blast doing these with my grand girls (ages 4 & 6). The instructions were super easy to follow, everything was included even the fluff to stuff inside. The needles are large with a big eye so it's easy for them to put the thread through. You have the back portion and the fur-like cutouts both have holes. All you do it line them up and start sewing! There are several dog and cat patterns to choose from, so this kit has allowed us to spend special visits doing these more often. The 2 yr old also helped in doing one of the cats, which I had her pulling the needle on each pass. She loved it! The features are stickers made with felt toppings, perfect for the eyes, nose, ears, etc. This project with the girls took about an hour, what great memories! ... show more

    • Fun gift!
Color: Woodland Animal
I bought this sewing kit for my niece, and she was excited the moment she opened it. She couldn’t wait to get started. Everything in the kit is easy to understand and feels very beginner-friendly, which was perfect since this was her first time sewing. The projects kept her interested without being overwhelming, and she was really proud of what she made. It was fun to watch her focus, create, and actually finish something on her own. I also like that it’s a creative activity that doesn’t involve a screen. Overall, this was a great gift and a really positive experience. I’d definitely recommend it for kids who enjoy crafts or want to try sewing for the first time. ... show more
