We recently brought this kit on an extended-family trip with 4 families. I had all the kids pick out an animal and I either helped them put it together or I offered to make the stuffy for them (especially the really little ones.) They were a HUGE hit. It kept the kids busy for a couple afternoons and everyone had fun. I had ages 4-10 assembling them with me, and I sewed the ones for the younger ones. The little stuffies that my two kids made were what they chose to bring on the first day of school this fall to share about the best parts of their summer break. So sweet!! As for quality, I will say the parts that you stick on with the peel-back adhesive parts stick pretty well. I was surprised. They're not super duper snuggly, but they look adorable and it didn't bother any of the kids at all. The edges are a bit scruffy.
