When ever you need an item like this either pendant or temporary these are the go to. Unfortunately some people have health issues and the reason people use these are actually ally part of a life process that is uncomfortable to begin with. 100% would recommend to anyone who needs this product..

I have been purchasing several brands of the absorbent pads for my father’s bedside commode, in an effort to find out which brands are a good buy and which band brands are not. These, are definitely not a good buy! In an effort to absorb the urine in the bedside commode bag, I have to use 2 for each of his visits, and even that does not absorb the urine. Keep in mind this is a 91-year-old man who, at the very most, peas, a half a cup of urine at a time. He goes frequently throughout the day, which means I would be using upwards of 16 pads a day, if I continued to use this brand. I’ve used 12 of them, I’ll be sending the rest back. My suggestion folks, don’t waste your money. A bargain isn’t a bargain unless it is, and this is not.

So I decided to try these because they were significantly cheaper than my normal brand and they would arrive quickly. First thing I noticed is they lack the thickness of my normal liners. Second thing I noticed was they lack that kind of gritty feeling. Ok that’s fine. I will say the packaging is nice. They come wrapped in plastic and that is inside a zip lock bag (a heavy duty one) My issue is they don’t absorb nearly what my normal liners do and have little to no affect on odor. And for me that is huge. With my normal brand I can use 1- 2 liners but with these I’m using 3-4 so the price point is a wash. If I was in a situation where I could instantly take the bag out to a garbage can, or possibly take it within a few minutes and the odor was not an issue they would be fine. But that isn’t the case. if you do choose to use these, I would make sure you’re using a high-quality bag because they do not absorb really well. Obviously, this isn’t a type of item you want a used picture lol. Edit: customer service reached out to me and offered to make it right. So that is a nice experience Edit 3/25 so customer service sent me an entirely new pack. I was impressed with the customer service so I raise them to four-star. And what I really want to stress as if you’re in a typical household environment where you’re able to take them out they are perfectly OK for the price point. But for me as a truck driver? They just don’t really fit the bill. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they are bad.

I purchased this product in addition to the bedside commode liners which comes with pads. However, the liners that come with absorbent pads are not as thick as these. I usually add this pad to the bedside commode once the liner and pad have absorbed their max. This pad is thicker and absorbs more liquid, making it easier to dispose of. I would love if this product was septic tank safe, then I could flush all down my commode.
