The media could not be loaded. Saw these lights on a youtube review where a guy was installing on a side by side. I was looking at lots of reviews because where we ride it is very dark at night and i wanted to have some sort of light on the inside of the roof so i could see what was going on if needed. So install went pretty smoothe. The kit comes with some plastic clamps and screws to hold in place but no way was i drilling that many holes into the roof of my side by side. Note:yes i know these are underglow lights meant for underneath vehicles and other things but they work for my application. These lights are definatley outdoorlights and are covered with thick rubber. On the back is some 3m tape that will hold the lights, but probably for not long. I had my wife pick me up some gorrila glue stuff which i applied to the 3m tape then applied to my sxs roof. As expected didnt really hold all that good right off the bat. At the ends of each strip-theres 6 of them- i ended up ziptieing to my roll cage and left it for the night. I came back the next day and cut the zipties off and everything was nice and secure. Now you will want to lay these strips out first for whatever your applying to because there is 2 short and one long for each side and again depending on your application you may need to cut the wires to shorten them up. I had to do this and cut off probably over 8ft of wire from each side and then connected the wires back together. I ended up having to use that wire that i cut away to extend the power wires since they only gave you about 3 ft of that and i had a distance still to go but actually all worked out great didnt have to buy any extra wire. The wires are very small i would say they are 22 guage wire. Another plus to this kit is it comes with an included cig plug you can just wire the pos and neg to the plug and wire they give you if you dont want to do an actual install which for some people might be an added plus. For me it just goes into the big box of parts i could use for another project in the future. Another reason i bought these lights is because they are “chasing lights” which in the video i watched i thought that was a cool feature/mode. This system has 120 modes as they call them but alot are the same mode just different colors. This system also only works on the downloadable app which im still leary off because where i keep my sxs cell service is about nothing but then you might say that shouldnt effect bluetooth but let me tell you when i try to connect bluetooth to my stereo to play music it constantly cuts out so we will have to see how that all plays out. All my other lights i ordered with an actual remote just so i wouldnt have any issues. So back to the lights and modes. So after getting everything wired to a switch and hooked up i turned the lights on and let me tell you these things are bright for some little led lights!!!!!!! You can turn the color brightness up/down on the app and speed modes up/down. The one downfall is that both sides of lights are independent. They work on same mode and color but when i was thinking of “chasing” i was thinking of a few lights starting on one side and going all the way around which isnt the case. The light starts independently on each side up front then travels to the back on each side so they are chasing but just chasing on each side seperately.. not a big downfall and i didnt take any stars away because so far everything about these have been exceptional. Watch the video i posted that was as soon as i got them on im changing the modes again which alot of time it just changes the colors but there is some pretty cool modes with the different colors. This is a must buy if you want some cool looking bright lights for your vehicle sxs boat or whatever you want to put them on. Oh and im lretty cheap and at the time these lights were $55 which i really didnt want to spend, but i found an amazon gift card i had and got these bad boys for $15 bucks so it was heck of a deal!!!!!!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bought these in April. Install wasn't bad, it's easier when you're just putting it in the cigarette adapter but i have both my adapters filled so i wanted to use a fuse instead. you just need one piece if you choose not to use the adapter, i attached a photo of it. this is a 15AMP fuse tap you can find it at any auto shop. crimp the red wire into the fuse tap and ground the black wire to a bolt such as the one on the battery. you can always get a washer type adapter to make the setup more professional. for the body work, the adhesive will do the trick for a bit but just to be safe use the clamps. if your car isn't super low then it's not a bad self install, my car has no height modifications and both me and my dad were able to get under the car to put the clamps on. the worst part of this install was the fuse tap and it's really not hard if you know what you're doing. once it's all plugged in, it'll show up on the app. i don't like how you can't see what colors are being used but you can favorite colors so that helps. i memorize my favorite ones so i know what to go to. PLEASE READ LOCAL LAWS BEFORE PURCHASING!! Underglow is legal in most parts of the world and basically everywhere in the US. US laws just say you can't use emergency vehicle colors such as red and blue/flashing red and blue or quick flashing colors. AKA, don't put on strobe lights when you're driving. most of the settings aren't problematic so it's not an issue. i used a red white and blue setting on fourth of july and cops didn't bother me, but still be careful with it. I've driven this in all kinds of weather, extremely heavy rain and puddles, hot weather, cold, and no issues! first picture is my car when i first bought it, then following are most recent photos from september/october. Stayed bright, looks great and get a lot of compliments. wires are quite long which is good, but can be tough to hide if you don't have much to zip tie it to. either way i've had no issues and despite any wear i put it through it's held up well. Best cheap underglow kit out there!! will be buying this for my second car too. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a great set of led underglows for your vehicle, these are the ones to go with. I was at a car show for an after dark event where the best leds won trophies! This product itself was on 7 different cars there! Everyone if them won an award that night! These lights are super easy to install and they are super bright!!! Multiple choices of color and directional, and you can save favorites! Just wish on the Bluetooth app it showed what pattern was in motion when your in the app. It does show the normal colors but not when you go to patterns. You have to remember what number was your favorite if you heart multiple patterns. Would love to see a custom display of the pattern being used. Other than that these have blown my mind on how bright and amazing they are. These are a major eye turner and a fair price for what you get!! Shipping was fast and product came well packaged. Product is fantastic and install was a breeze. This being my 3rd set to install these are the best and the brightest I've installed to date. Bluetooth connects quickly and app works well without any bugs. So many available colors and effects it will take some time to find a favorite! Helpful tip for d.i.yers: I always add a little bit of weatherproof clear caulking around both ends of each strip and around all electronic components to ensure water retention and a little added security against weather or road debris. Don't bother with trying to use the tape on the lights use the included screws, brackets and zip ties! Interested in seeing how long they can withstand Indiana weather and roads.
