I purchased this to make better sounding recording of my friends bands when they play live. The volume of the music is usually very loud and can sometimes distort the built in microphone on my iphone. This mic does not have that problem. I was pretty amazed by the size, both the mic and the transmitter that is plugged into your phone are incredibly small (see size of quarter for scale). The thing is plug and play. You just have to make sure the mic is charged and then hit the on button once the receiver is plugged into your phone. The quality of this microphone is fantastic! I bought this mic because my cell phone mic has been having problems ever since I got water in the mic area. This mic saved me the cost of an expensive repair and works much much better than the stock microphone ever did! It is very convenient and portable which makes it easy to bring to events that I can't carry a bag into. I was very impressed with the microphone and how easy it is to use. The quality of the audio was great. I was downstairs from my phone with the microphone and it was able to clearly record my voice. Worked great, definitely recommend!

This is a very impressive little Mike. Has excellent pickup and works from a good distance. Recharging the Mike takes a USB C. One conโ€ฆ the Mike did not work with the pass through port on my battery case. Worked perfectly with just the phone.
