Mine arrived in perfect condition. It truly is beautiful. Yes, as stated in the reviews the lid sort of "rocks" a bit but that doesn't bother me. This blue ceramic dish looks like a work of art and is the most beautiful dish that I have ever purchased. I love the color variations! The side handles are deep and can be firmly grasped with potholders but the lid knob is a problem. The lid is very heavy and it's difficult to get a firm grip on the handle when wearing potholders. I either need to purchase heat resistant gloves to safely manage this dish or I need to return it. Unfortunately, I'll probably return it and look for a casserole dish with large loop handles. ... show more

The glaze is beautiful! I ordered this particular casserole because it was deep. It will hold a 6 layer lasagna or a mass of scalloped potatoes for the holiday. Very versatile and the added benefit of looking fantastic when I bring the casserole dish elsewhere. 5 stars!

This casserole bakes beautifully and doubles as a work of art in your china hutch while not in use. It's glorious. And somewhat heavy and not intended for weakling cooks. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
