Luxurious, grippy and comfy but fragile. Its made out of non-embossed calf skin, so both hardness and strength are both pretty low. If you want a sturdy case, look for something else.

Positives: 1) Thick and sturdy. Provides great protection. 2) Very easy to put on/take off. The bottom portion is the easiest - just slide it in. The top, since that's where the buttons are, you kind of have to snap it in, but that's also very easy. Took me less than 30 seconds to put both on. 3) Simple, elegant, beautiful. Aesthetics and material quality are top notch. Negatives: 1) Thick and sturdy mean more heft and weight. It makes it quite a bit thicker, and you can feel that especially on the sides, where the Flip3 being a weird ratio was actually very svelte on the sides. If you don't like too thick, get the Aramid version instead. 2) No protection for the external screen, besides the lip surrounding it from its thickness. You should get a screen protector for it if you're paranoid (are those even out yet??). 3) I guess they're using real leather, as it scratches very easily. Only a day in and I got a one-inch scar on it already. 4) Remember, because of its folding dynamics, the hinge is not protected when it's folded. Since this is an official case from Samsung, you don't have to worry about the fit and finish. The price is high because it is a genuine official product, so if you want to save then you can find third party alternatives. I got it for free as part of Samsung's pre-order credit bonus on their website. ... show more

1 star, $80 case and all of the seams are ripping and the case itself is fraying especially the corners. I was obsessed with it at first but it looks like a cheap case. I work from home and not with my hands so it does not get beat up at all. Was a Christmas present from my boyfriend who has used to apple leather cases for years without any issues - do not recommend wasting your money :( ... show more
