Very lovely set suitable for table serving dishes not just for baking , I question how durable over the long term micro oven ect, these will be,, previous had the old white baking dishes which are pretty much indestructible but not suitable for table setting . I believe these are porcelain casting. With glaze over so maybe not the most durable. That said happy with purchase for the mix use ... show more

I bought this bakeware in December 2020. I loved them. They were perfect for family meals and had served us for many meals. A couple of months ago, we started to notice what looked like some cracks in the largest dish. Today, while cooking a dish that couldn't possibly bubble over, I smelled the tell-tale odor of something burning in the over. The dish had cracked clear through and was dripping on to the oven. Very pretty! I didn't realize the edges were gold, not brown, so that was a but of a disappointment for me, but no big deal. They're heavy, haven't cracked, and sturdy. Easy to clean, since I can throw them in the dishwasher. Because of their weight, they do slightly bend my oven shelves.

Ok, I bought these because they were really fancy and nice looking, my fault for not thinking about how the handles would make these hard to fit in any toaster oven. Will need to use this in a large oven.
