Rarely is a product better looking and better at what it's supposed to be for than the claims of its online blurbs and photos. These bowls are the happy exception - they are surprisingly terrific! They are way heavier and more substantial than expected, and more subtly shaped than the photos showed. More than suitable for holding expansive, multi-ingredient salads or pasta of any shape. These bowls are nice, heavy, white bowls. I think they are too big for pasta bowls, the sides are too high to comfortably cut a stuffed shell with a fork for example. But they are perfect for use as a serving bowl. They take up a lot of room because they do not nest well. I’m not dinging the review because dimensions were clearly stated, I should have done some measuring on my old bowls before ordering. Great size and weight for so many things from soup to salad to pasta to individual 7 layer dip to fish and chips. Great for fruit deserts.. just a great all purpose bowl! I only used the same 2 for a while, since my dishes are all handwashed. When I needed to use the other 2 bowls, I noticed a hairline crack all the way through one bowl. Since I did not inspect upon arrival, it’s on me. A shame though because I really do love these bowls and had planned on buying quite a few more as Christmas gifts. Disappointed. ... show more

I love the cobalt color of these bowls. They are a nice large size for pasta or anything really. They are my family's new favorite dish to use. The only thing I'll say is be careful if handwashing because they get really slippery to handle and I almost dropped them a couple times. We don't have a dishwasher at the moment but they are dishwasher safe. Otherwise, we absolutely love them! ... show more
