  • Comfortable
I like how these feel but i dont like how both are high rise i thought i wouldve liked them as both are and i thought it wouldnt matter but after a while of using it, it really does matter. The extra range of motion is not something i like considering i have to move my thumbs slightly farther and it throws my aim off abit. After a couple of days or hours your thumbs will get used to them but the extra range of motion still puts me off at times. So over all 4.5/5 and i would recomend people to choose care fully on getting high rise or low rise kontrol freeks as it could give a drastically different feel if youre not used to them and dont like the feel of high rise like me. ... show more

  • They have good grip
It’s raised up off of the original thumb sticks . Good grip.

  • Extra reach
So I’ve had similar ones on my previous controllers and honestly they do work the give a bit more of a reach and once you get use to them not having them on feels off and it throw you off your game definitely would recommend for gamers

  • Great Concave Stick Attachment
I have only compared 2 attachments, a concave and convex and I would say I prefer Concave for playing Halo specifically, but better feel in general at least for how I play

  • Needed Superglue to keep them on the thumbsticks, otherwise works as advertised.
I've used Kontrol Freeks before on my old Xbox 360, and once I decided to upgrade to an Xbone X, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I picked up a set. I've always been a fan of the tallest freeks KF offers, so I went with these, and they (mostly) did not disappoint. They offer a boost in precision which is noticeable to me. I play with my lookspeed set to max on nearly every console game I play, and with the factory stick length I tend to overcorrect a bit with snap movements. This is mostly due to playing M&K on my gaming PC. Lookspeeds below max just feel sluggish, and the short thumbstick throw isn't sensitive enough for my use. Adding the Freeks give me the precision I need, while still allowing me to exploit my faster look speed. These actually feel more comfortable to hold for long sessions as well. I've had RSIs in my forearms before and these go a long way towards preventing reoccurrence for me. The (one) bad thing with this particular set of Freeks: Played for one day before one of the Freeks began slipping off of the thumbsticks. Bearing in mind this is with a brand new controller (I've had this console 4 days). This could probably be solved easily by KF by slightly tightening the dimensions that clamp over the thumbstick. I think the rubber is too soft on the Xbone controller for them to bite into well. I suppose it's possible it's just my controller, but the same Freek slips off of both sticks sooo..... and the other one isn't holding especially well either. As I write this review, the Superglue is drying... I figure screw it, it's my controller, and I won't ever take these off so, this ought to solve the problem. If it doesn't, some 5 minute epoxy sure as heck will. At any rate, TLDR 4 stars, it works at what it's supposed to do, but in my case they don't hold on well to my controller. ... show more

  • Great product
Works great, grabs the stick of my controller very good and doesn’t fall off. Also has a very good feel that doesn’t let your finger slide off it when being used

  • Not everyone will like it!
I loved everything about it. It gives me precision I need for some of the games I like to play and is comfortable. Unfortunately, not everyone else like it. I had to get a second controller without them as I glued them in place, and they wanted to remove them. Which leads to it's one flaw, they have a tendency to pop off during game play. That is why I glued them in place. ... show more
