These reading glasses actually block out most of the blue light spectrum. While reading using LED lights or the blue light spectrum that most electronic device screens have. All were definitely affecting my eyes. I love the electric savings I get using LED lights throughout my house and the bright light LED’s put out.These reading glasses cured the anything that puts out a lot of the blue light spectrum. If you have a IPhone. Look at this particular screen without these reading glasses. Then put these reading glasses on and then off a few times. You will see the blue light spectrum being mostly blocked out. These reading glasses don’t block out all the blue light spectrum. But they do block out just enough of the blue light spectrum so your eyes don’t get tired so easily. The low cost to purchase these reading glasses is quite good. I will definitely be purchasing more of these reading glasses when I need a stronger magnification or end up breaking this batch. I’m rough on my reading glasses and so far none have broke. I keep telling myself it's a mistake to get the frame-less glasses. The lenses themselves are held in place by essentially fishing line that runs through a channel at the bottom of the eyepiece and back up into the metal part of the frame. So far I've had one of the five glasses break after the glasses fell from head height to the floor. The eyepiece pops out the glasses, leaving the frame and fishing line in tact. If you have the patience of a saint, you might be able to get the lens put back into the frame, but it's not easy, borderline impossible. I also found that the glasses would run down my nose, so I attempted to bend the stem to get more grab behind my ear. The plastic part that would be behind your ear broke, leaving the metal band that the plastic covers in place. So I can still wear the glasses, but not as comfortably. I would like to try and bend the nose pad in, but I've read other reviews saying theirs broke when they tried to do so. I expect I'll blow through the five pair of glasses in a couple of months. I doubt I'd buy again, but these were pretty inexpensive. Might be time to get with an optometrist and pay some bigger bucks for a better pair of glasses. ... show more

After my forties my eyes are getting bad for small print. These do not look as lame as other options that do cost less. For a few extra dollars I would be happy to go with these rather than the cheap plastic look. In a perfect world I wish I would never need to buy these... but age is a reality.

I don’t know about anyone else but I have readers laying all over the place for convenience. I’ve tried the more expensive ones and really can’t tell the difference. I also mistreat them…sit on them, fall asleep on them, bend them, lose them, etc. These inexpensive ones are great for me and the quality is fine. Bottom line: Good bang for the buck! ... show more

You basically get what you pay for... The aren't bad though, honestly I wear them A lot. the only thing I don't like is the nose pieces are kind of ehh and they are hard to keep clean. Other than that. they do the job and I find myself looking for my glasses more than I thought I would. My husband has had a problem finding readers that fit his large head! All that brain power has to be stored somewhere!😉 These are very sturdy and fit him perfectly. He’s already scratched one pair (totally his fault), but for the price- his heart (or wallet) isn’t broken.

If you’re anything like me, you go through reading glasses like water through a sieve. Regardless of the brand, be it Foster Grants at $20 or more a pair or the generic pair purchased at your local Dollar Store for $5…..they get scratched, the frames get wonky or they just break. But I need them for everyday tasks so I buy them and I’m sure you either do as well…..or you will one day soon. And, if I have a choice, I would rather have Foster Grant quality at the Dollar Store price! Well….here you go! I would rank these glasses very close to FG quality and you simply can’t beat the price.
