  • Indestructible
Size: Large Color: Orange
This is my third one and I will be getting a fourth. My dog cannot destroy the toy. After about a year the Kong starts to rise up in the water a little slower until it just takes to long to wait for. I live in Florida so it gets used almost every day. Yes my dog has me trained. I do shorten the rope because my dog steps on it ... show more

  • Not a good tug toy
Size: Large Color: Orange
I’ve 4 dogs, 2 are 72# and love to run side by side one with the Kong and the other with the rope in their mouths. The toy is a favorite but it does not last long as they play tug with it and have figured out how to give it a sudden snap jerk and pull the rope out. They really like the rope so both can play together. The extreme king without rope holds no interest for them. I would really like to see the rope insert improved so I don’t need to replace it so often. ... show more

This is the only toy that hold up to my dogs heavy chewing!

  • Very tough, floats great!
Size: Large Color: Orange
The media could not be loaded. 2 days into it my American Bulldog hasn't destroyed it yet! He tears everything up , except 1 indestructable rubber ball. But that floats below the surface so he can't find it in the water. Other toys , like that football lookikng thing, float great until he tears it up and the floating stuff comes out and it sinks. Then he shreds it and as he swims with it in his mouth it fills with water and gone. So far he hasn't put a scratch in this ! I'm amazed but will update. He chews it for a long time if not fetching . ... show more

  • Not very durable
Size: Large Color: Orange
We received the Kong on 20 July 2023 because we needed a floating Kong. It is now 31 July 2023 and it no longer floats and it is getting ragged. We really expected a little more durability. We take toys away in the evening to protect them from destruction. It was good at first. - 4 YO German Shepard who is a water nut. ... show more

  • Very durable
Size: Large Color: Orange
My Chiweenie chewed thru the attached rope in a minute but even after a couple of weeks she still cannot chew thru the rubber/plastic ball. This toy floats and is the only floating toy that I have found that can stand up to her destructive chewing behavior. Highly recommend!

  • Durable and fun for multiple dogs!
Size: Large Color: Orange
I love these kong-on-a-rope toys! They do so many things right! 1. The plastic-like woven rope attached to the toy is long enough that it makes your effective "throwing arm" very long, which means you can easily get enough momentum in a swing to throw the toy very far. 2. The weight, heavier than toys with rope knots or tennis balls or tennis-ball-type cylinders on the end, also lets even my 68-year-old mother build up enough momentum in a relaxed throw to really get some distance and give the dogs a good long run. 3. The hard rubber of the toy at the end is very resistant to chewing. 4. The toy's odd shape and rubber composition makes it bounce unpredictably when it lands, keeping the dogs guessing and sometimes making your effective throw even longer. 5. The rope is long enough that we can have three or four of our dogs running side by side with the rope in their mouths at once! Very funny, cool, and cute to see the whole doggie family running with the same toy in their mouths! 6. The rope is tough enough that our dogs trying to pull it away from each other can't tear or cut it. Sometimes they bring me the toy and don't want me to throw it again, but want to play tug of war. I'll grab the end of the rope. One, two or three dogs will grab hold, and in a rowing motion, I'll lift them one (or all) off the ground at once and swing them to the side. That can be well over 100 pounds of dogs hanging on and being swung by the teeth, and the rope is fine. And they love the ride! Our 40-pounder loves getting as many rides as I can give her before I'm pooped. I guess that's another benefit -- I get exercise too! 7. It floats. I walk the dogs by a pond, and we've lost a few non-floating toys to it. 8. The orange toy and red rope are very easy to see in green grass or in brown underbrush. A lot of our dog toys have been in that green color you see on tennis balls, and they can be so hard to find when the dogs drop them in the grass. You've got to watch them like a hawk with those, but not with these. I got both my mother and my father kong-on-a-rope toys for their dogs for Christmas because I knew they love them too, but once in a while they lose one up in a tree. I told them I wouldn't say anything if they didn't want to tell the dogs, and just chew on the toys themselves, but so far they're willing to share. They're the perfect present for the man or woman who has everything -- something for their dogs! ... show more

  • Didn't last long
Size: Large Color: Orange
As a working K9 handler, I prefer to use kongs as they can take the abuse of some power chewers. I bought this aqua kong to replace my previous aqua kong that had the rope chewed off. This aqua kong was very disappointing as it lasted all of one good tug. The rope came out instantly. It appears that the washer that comes in the new aqua kongs is smaller than the previous versions. ... show more
