Good quality and cheap! The baby loves it. The bed is stronger than imagined, and it does not move at all after installation. Some of the self-tapping screws need to be tightened directly, but the seller has made a small hole to install it is still very easy. Very decent quality bed (twin over twin). Solid construction, very sturdy. It is made in Vietnam, not in China (as it says in specs) - probably a good thing. The paint doesn't smell at all. Everything fits, easy to put together. Con: Ladder is not reversable. Paint quality is not the best, they should have done another coat. Instructions were missing a page and the quality of print is poor. This should be easy to fix, no? Could you make instructions available online just in case? And it would be nice to have a link for customer support. ... show more

It takes two people to put these bunk beds together, but it's not hard. You must follow the instructions carefully and do all the steps in order. All the pieces are lined up nicely. We were careful not to put too much pressure on the bolts and screws, and using the drill made the job much faster. The lower and upper bed slats need to be pulled up so that they line up with the holes in the frame. Using a drill to install the screws that hold the slats in place requires great care. If you apply too much torque to the screw, it may split the slats, so be careful. My friends and I were amazed at how beautiful the bunk beds looked. ... show more

The quality on this is actually super good! Pulling out the trundle is a little annoying because it's not on tracks so you have to line it up well every time you put it back but that is my only complaint. It took me and my husband about 4 hours to build it. But the directions weren't ultra difficult to read. ... show more

Setting up of this takes a fair amount of time. It was put together in just under 5 hours' time. I believe the marking and the instructions are mixed up in one spot, which is why I had to take a couple things apart and put them back together again. Not a biggie but it does take a toll. Is it strong enough to be used. I don't think so, yet for some reason it seems to be working. Lets see. In relation to the amount of value it provides, the cost is somewhat excessive. The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with this bed. Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect at such a low price point, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was a $600 bunk bed at my local furniture store that I was looking at but it was super flimsy and shook like crazy. This one is way sturdier and a fraction of the cost. Even an adult could use it, but it’s probably best for kids. All of the boards used to make it are pretty thick and solid. Also the slats under the mattress are close enough that you don’t need a box spring or anything. I also like the simple design. It’s modern and can fit my girls room no matter how we decide to decorate it. The height is perfect for my kids. It’s not so tall that I’m worried about falling, but it’s off the ground enough that we can put storage underneath. Set up wasn’t too bad either, especially with 2 people, It only took us about an hour. I would recommend a 6 or 8 inch mattress on the top bunk so that there is enough height on the railing. Pretty decent. Actual wood frame. Pieces and hardware were clearly marked. Wife and I had it together in an hour and a half. Sturdy enough for us (both 200 pounds) to climb the ladder and lay in the top bunk. It's worth the price. Would buy another. Instructions could be a little better.
