Definitely changes the experience of riding indoors for the better. Easy enough to assemble. My floor is a bit uneven and getting this to level isn't entirely straightforward, but doable. The packaging preferred it on shipping but seemed a bit wasteful/excessive. Kind of expensive for what it is when you consider that the actual parts included. Makes me wish I was handy enough to make a diy version.

I have been riding on Zwift for a while now and researching rocker plated and finally decided on purchasing the KOM Cycling Rocker Plate after a lot of research and watching many reviews on various do it yourself and commercially available rocker plates. I am very picky on what I like and don't like and feel this was the missing link in my optimal indoor training setup. My setup: Felt B12 Triathlon bike with Wahoo Kickr Core and Kickr Climb My opinion on which bikes and trainers would fit on Rocker Plate: From all the research I have done basically all Smart trainers commercially available will work with slots and straps provided and I run the kickr climb and kickr core Wahoo trainers and it works perfectly for me on both fast racing sustained 275W FTP effort as well as short 500+ watt sprints with the kickr climb so a smart trainer on the back and a block on the front strapped down would be even more solid. Dumb trainers with training tires should work fine as well though I have not tried any of those. Here is my review (My personal opinion) after several rides on Zwift: Pros: It provides side to side motion much more realistic than what I experienced with the trainer only which was fixed to the ground and didn't move side to side. I have watched several professional review like DC Rainmaker state that it didn't move like a real bile and I did not have that opinion. For example: when on a real bike outside when your right foot pushes down your bike will rock to the left and vice versa and when I rode on the KOM rocker plate my first time I naturally did that same opposite rocking motion that my bike did on outside rides. I also found that on fast downhill sections I would lean the bike into the turn creating a more realistic feel as I could lean into the turn. Cons: Cost as I feel this system is best suited for individuals that use a smart trainer to create the immersion desired in Zwift or what ever interactive training environment you desire.

I really like the rocker but the balls are not adequate for the use. I thought the balls were more like a tire but they are really like an inter tube. As you add pressure the expand between the plates more than adding resistance. It seems to me an inflatable ball that maintains the shape of a ball instead of a pancake would be more effective.

Being a fair weather cyclist I tend to spend the majority of my time riding indoors during the winter. I'd never really enjoyed the trainer all that much due to the limited range of motion. I was riding 30 minutes max before soreness and discomfort would cause me to stop. After coming across the concept of rocker plates several months ago I had constructed a very basic one that provided some tilt, but was an accident waiting to happen. I saw this one on Amazon and finally broke down to buy a properly engineered and constructed product. My initial reviews - Shipping: Fast, got it within 5 days of ordering Packaging: Amazing. I was very concerned with the plate getting dinged up during the shipping process but the packaging on this was solid. Build Quality: Light years ahead of anything I could ever conceive of building. Nice finish with grip tape/pads applied where the trainer and front wheel will rest on the deck. I don't have any doubts this will last a long time Assembly: Minimal. Instructions provided were satisfactory. Came with a pump, 4 inflatable balls, tie down straps, and a level. After a little tweaking I was able to get the balls inflated where the plate was level with the bike and trainer on it Experience: I only have one ride on it so far, but at the 30 minute mark I wasn't sore! You'll definitely feel your core engaging more to stay upright due to the side to side motion. I didn't have to do micro adjustments to change positions on my sit bones.

Nice Rocker Plate. Works well with road bikes or recumbents as you can see in the photograph. I have been Zwifting on my recumbent and road bike. The short wheel base recumbent fits on the rocker plate well and I like to ride it because it has a triple crank with low gears since I have the resistance setting on Zwift set to 100%. I have climbed Alp du Zwift and Ven-Top with this setup. The recumbent seat is much more comfortable and I prefer it on a steep ride especially when I know I am going to be in the saddle for a while. The plate allows more side to side movement for a more natural road ride feel. The rocker plate is expensive but still only half the cost of other competitors. Comes with everything you need to set it up and setup is easy. When coming out of the saddle on a road bike the side to side movement is more comfortable than being locked in place. I have a Tacx Neo 2T smart trainer and it fits well on the rocker plate. I have never liked indoor training but the Zwift App and the KOM Cycling Rocker Plate makes indoor training enjoyable. I would purchase again.
