Synthetic winch ropes are much safer than using steel lines, whiplash that occurs when they fail under tension can have severe consequences to anyone in close proximity due to the kinetic energy steel cables hold. Synthetic constructed ropes do not have the same ability to store kinetic energy. This company provides approximately 6 feet of change in rope color to make the user aware that they are approaching the limit of the safe working length of the line, keeping several wraps of line on the winch drum. The forged hook provided is oversized compared to others and smooth finished lessening the chance of injury to the user. Finally, this company provides an abrasion sleeve to protect the synthetic rope from damage extending its working life at no additional cost.

I use it on my utv plow, it does stretch quite a bit but it dose the job. My only criticism is it wears quickly when used many times. I have had to remove a portion of the rope and reconnect the loop. But it’s good for what I use it for. I’m sure if it’s just used occasionally it is more than adequate

I replaced the original steel cable on my ATV winch with this. I was worried there would be a lot of stretch with the rope, but there is no noticeable stretch. The hook is big enough to easily fit both ends of a choker and seems very sturdy. I am very happy with the way it looks and don't need to look for my gloves every time I need to use it. Great product.

Broke while pulling out of snow bank with tires moving broke well under the break rating of 8500 pounds. The atv only wieghs 400 pounds and wasnt buried. Will not be purchasing again. The good the hook is nice to use and is as advertised. The bad is low breaking strength

Used it twice to run my plow on my ATV, the line already broke. Also, the stopper doesn't fit the line, it's made for 3/8", not 1/4".
