    • Good but has design flaw

Overall it’s a good torch, BUT there’s an issue that you should be aware of before buying. The ignition wire isn’t one solid wire. There’s the ignition source, and then the electrode wire itself. Now this is held together with an insulation sleeve. This is done to allow the torch head to rotate without damaging the wire. Problem is that when it rotates it pulls the two wires apart because there’s just not enough slack. I’ve been a metal worker for almost 20 years now. Honestly I think it’s an all around decent torch, but if you’re not familiar with torch maintenance then it might be a pain. Granted it's a pretty easy fix. But not everyone is up for doing it. So if you’re looking for something that you won’t have to tear apart soon, then it’s just not for you there’s plenty of open style torches on Amazon that work great for cheap. I have a couple of JEVTSU’s that work well. They’re about $12 for a 2 pack. So that’s an option. Hope I was able to help someone out there! Good luck and God speed! 😁👍 ... show more

This is a great lighter. It has an adjustable, single torch flame (I dislike those ones that look like the space shuttle going off) and a little slide lever to lock the flame on. I love the pivoting head, makes it very easy to light my candles. The sliding ignite clicker-switch is very quiet compared to some other torch lighters I have tried. About 3 months after receiving it, it stopped sparking at the tip. I messaged the seller, got a reply from them the NEXT day, and by weeks end had received a new unit. I wish all sellers could be that attentive to their customers needs/inquiries. Ordering another for the cabin (to light the bon fires), and another for a friend. ... show more

    • Broke within a week of minimal usage.

The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t always work. You occasionally have to click it a couple times for it to ignite, and it will randomly shut off on its own. This is my second one. The first one I ordered stopped working after only a week. It would not spark at all, and the trigger got stuck in the on position (down) and would not come back up. The butane was leaking the entire time until it eventually ran out. I won’t be surprised if this one breaks too. We’ll see. It’s good when it works though. ... show more

This product worked great for 2 days without any problems but then it quit sparking to ignite the butane and I couldn't fix it then the button got all weirdly stuck when I tried to fix it. The gas is still pushing through but no ignition but I can still light it with another lighter. Other than that it works alright accept that you can't set it down. While I like the overall look of the lighter, it will not light on a lower setting and has to be about 1/2 way before it lights and then with multiple presses.
