Just finished assembling this plow. It is my second one so that should attest to my opinion as to quality. It is heavy and somewhat difficult to assemble due to having to align many fasteners. It would be easier with two people, but that was not my case. It will not, however fit the 2010 Hisun HS 500 using the universal hardware included. This was not totally unexpected. I will fabricate mounts, which will require welding to the UTV frame. I intended to do this Saturday, but we are in the midst of an ice storm and I do not want to address it until the weather improves. I installed my other one on a Odes Dominator 800 and that only required drilling holes through the skid plate. The frame is not wide enough for this approach on the HiSun. As there are many UTVs out there with that design with many different names the potential exists for a difficult installation for many. Tractor Supply, Lowes both sold this same UTV up until 2024 with few changes other than switching from a carburetor to fuel injection in 2011. There were other dealers as well. I recommend this plow to anyone that has the ability and wherewithall to possibly modify their UTV or fabricate mounting. It is a good, durable product. It appears to be a direct fit for a Polaris, according to instructions. Why do I have two? Two different locations.

This plow works great. Not a difficult install either. I have a 2013 Polaris 500 AWD and I followed the directions for the older Polaris models and it worked out great. I drilled 2 holes in the skid plate (as per the directions) and the mounting bracket was in place. I like the fact that you have the option of the 2 different sizes (48” or 60”) I am using it at home right now so the 48” size works great on the driveway and if I turn the plow it will fit on our sidewalk. Putting the plow together was even easier than installing the bracket. This is a good solid plow. I would highly recommend this plow.

Really easy to assemble, take a look on YouTube for a video. The video shows a little different, and easier way versus the included instructions. Once assembled, the plow system is very strong. I recommend a dry fit of the U-bolts used to mount the chassis bracket to the ATV. Measure the needed length then trim off the access bolt. I did not and the bolts hit concrete and knocked them loose. The metal is heavy duty. The online photo's does not do it justice. Other than that, highly satisfied with this system.

The media could not be loaded. I recently bought the Kolpin ATV Switchblade Plow (17-0000) and I’m very impressed! It was easy to assemble, feels very sturdy, and works great with my Polaris Sportsman 450. I’ve used it for both snow and dirt, and it handles both perfectly. The blade is solid, adjustable, and durable — exactly what I needed for Michigan winters. Also, the price was excellent, especially with the discount. Highly recommend this plow to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable option!

Had to modify the blade to make it work well. The skids had the blade at least a 1/2” off the ground. I removed the skids and bought teflon strips and mounted them between the plow and the blades with a good 1/4” going down past the blades and it works great.

The media could not be loaded. This snow plow was surprisingly heavy. I could barely move the box by myself when it arrived. I’m very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of it so far. A few notes on installation: Assembly and Install: I mounted this snow plow onto a 2021 Polaris Sportsman 570 EPS. Assembly was not quick, it took about 2-3 hours for the plow assembly and another 2 hours to get it installed on the ATV. Plan for 4-5 hours. This unit can be assembled as either 48” or 60” wide. I chose the 48” width assembly as that’s about the width of the vehicle, anything wider is going to tear up landscaping on both sides of the sidewalk. The 48” width seems pretty manageable. The instructions aren’t great on how to mount the mount plate to the bottom of the ATV. Pictures are poor quality, so you just need to stare at it and figure it out. There are different configurations you can use. For the 21 Sportsman 570 installation, I mounted to the frame with three hex bolts and one U-bolt. I had to drill one new hole in the frame cross support to ensure a good, tight installation. Once getting the base plate mounted on the ATV, then attaching and detaching the plow from the vehicle is a matter of pulling 2 cotter pins and unhooking your winch. A winch works great to raise and lower the plow. I wouldn’t recommend using this unit if you don’t have a winch, there will be nothing to support it. One big watch out (not just with this plow( but all ATV plows) - watch your speed. You can bend the plow arms and mount up if you try to go too fast or push too much snow.
