The quality of these brushes for the prices is actually really impressive. Thus far they have kept their shape and rigidity perfectly, and I’m not gentle about how I use them especially when I’m in a rush, lol. I really recommend this set for EYES…every brush you could ever want for eye make up is there. I wouldn’t recommend these necessarily as your primary foundation/face make up brushes, though. There are a few that I like to use as my “touch up brushes” to take along easily in a make up bag vs my daily use ones, but based on how I apply my make up at least, there isn’t a large enough brush to apply powder or blend contouring etc. There are brushes that are great for concealer and highlighter and the largest is great for applying the contouring prior to blending. It would probably work well for liquid foundation if you use it, I don’t so I can’t speak to that first hand, though. The only complaint I have is that even before they were out of the package, 3-4 of them were in pieces because the metal part holding the bristles had detached from the handle, and just while handling them to take the plastic off, a couple more did the same thing. To me, this isn’t really a big deal..I just took a few minutes before I ever even used any of them to just pull the metal part off of the handle (came right off with next to no effort on 90% of them) & just dropped a few drops of superglue on the handle and stuck them back together. The best part about this product is the amount of makeup brushes that you receive for the price that you pay. As far is quality is concerned, you get what you pay for. Certainly not the best makeup brushes that I have ever used, but also not the worst. There are also a lot of different brushes included, most of which are not really necessary for the average make up applicator.     • More than I expected
I came across these brushes and thought why not? $7.00 for 20 brushes. Even if they don't work well for makeup, I can use them for painting. All were complete and only one brush had funky bristles. Easily fixed with a trim. The ferrules are tight, the brushes I've used aren't losing bristles and they are very soft. They hold product well and blend easily. I only use 5 or 6 of these but I'm very happy with them. If you don't want or need an expensive set of brushes these are perfect. And these would be great to leave a set at your work, gym, overnight bag, etc. If you lose them, you're out a few dollars. These are slight shorter than other brishes but they fit better in a standard size makeup pouch. These would be a great gift for someone new to makeup or anyone who loves makeup. I bought the pink set and will definitely buy a couple more sets in other colors. ... show more

It’s very 50-50 with these brushes because some hold up really well but for others when I try to wash the brushes after using them, the top fell off from the handle and or bristles would come out
