I got this today and I would say it took me less than an hour to put it together. Definitely have a drill it will make your life much easier and go much quicker. Instructions were very easy to follow. The hardest part was putting the lift up table top on at the end. If you have a helper it would definitely be easier but you can do it by yourself. I basically put the coffee table next to my couch and I used a small box that was about the difference in height above my couch cushions that I needed to put the hinges where I needed them and then I just followed the instructions to screw them in. Overall very satisfied.

I've purchased this table before and loved it as it fits small spaces. This time after having it about a month, the leg gave out and broke my vase which was the only thing on it. After examining it appears the area around the screws was warped and cracked since we got it. Defective and wish I could get a replacement.

When I was first pulling out all the boards, I was bummed out to see that there were some dark spots in a few boards. Most are fairly hidden in the finished product, but there is still one visible on the top of it. The assembly was lengthy. Be prepared with help. A drill might help too. I just hand screwed in these screws, and there were a few parts that I put in one way and then found I needed to do another. When you are getting ready to put the hardware on the top piece (the one that will raise and lower) I highly recommend you watch the video they put the link to. I didn’t, and ended up having to undo what I did and do it the other way. Not only that, but they showed some tricks that would have made it easier, but weren’t in the book. In the end, you also need someone to help hold up the top piece while screwing it in. Like I said, I did all that by hand. There aren’t really holes there, just dips in where you need to put your screws. I ended up finding that if I took a little nail and hammered it lightly into the hole first, then pulled it back out, my screw (which was bigger than the nail) went in much easier. But then again, a drill might help that whole issue too. If I was building this again, I would track one down and save myself all the extra work of doing it by hand. The end result is stylish and looks great in my room. I haven’t yet filled it with anything, but I did pull up the top to sit and go over my son’s school work. When I rested my arms on the raised part of the table, the whole thing wanted to tip toward me. I then played around with it a bit and it was a little too easy to tip. By putting a few things in there, it might weigh the table down enough that it won’t tip so easily.

This table arrived undamaged thanks to its excellent packaging. That's about the best part. It took a long time to assemble, even with an impact driver and help. Like 2 hours. The instructions were good, just long. The top doesn't line up good when closed. I adjusted the hinges over and over again and it still didn't line up with the other top piece. It also doesn't close easily, causing you to have to hold the base as you close it. The screws are cheap and strip easily, probably why they include a bag marked spare parts. And my biggest complaint is that it is smaller than it appears in the pictures. They are misleading. The dimensions are correct but the pictures lead you to think it's bigger. After assembly, it is a coffee size table with storage, so it has that going for it. It is just underwhelming in person.

So first and foremost just be prepared to take a while to put this together there's a lot of parts a lot of screws and you will need help for at least one or two parts of this. Aside from that I really love this table it's nice and sturdy very good design. I love how the table Rises and it holds really steady I don't have to worry about putting something on it and then it just automatically falling it holds well so that's a big plus. One small negative that I will say is this comes with some stickers to cover wherever the screws are so it looks a little bit better and more appealing however the stickers are not the right color and don't match very well so that's something that should maybe be adjusted.

Was pretty easy to put together. Looks great. The black pretty much goes with everything. Great for smaller living rooms, yet the two shelves and lift top that exposes even more space gives plenty of storage. Pretty sturdy when the top isn't lifted but even though the lift arms are pretty solid, I don't know that I'd put a lot of weight on the top when it's lifted. You can eat off it or put things like books on, but I wouldn't put 100lb plus items on it and whether lifted or not, I wouldn't sit on it. They say it supports up to 200lbs, but why test that? All in all a nice little coffee table that I love.
