Will not even consider another brand. I have two Kodiak full size futons and both have this mattress in aqua blue linen. I use both futons as couches and both hold up to my light use well. My dogs also give them a paws up.

The mattress looks really nice, and so does the wood. And I knew there was some assembly required. But...I had no idea that you have to put it together SLAT BY SLAT! PIECE BY PIECE! Usually these things come in sections, i.e. back assembled that you have to attach to the seat, etc. But no. It's just a bunch of pieces of wood and a bunch of hardware. Very disappointed. I never would have bought this had I known that. Am considering returning. ... show more

This thing is awesome. It took my husband and I about half the day putting it together, and some holes were not screwed correctly in alignment with where the hardware needed to go, which made it take longer, but boy is this thing sturdy. It's worth the money. It looks great, all came unbroken. Mattress came same day as well. It is really great. I am 5' 0" and 95 lbs and can transform this thing by pushing and pulling on the right things in the right places. It's a beast, but you can tame it. Just need a little practice. ... show more

We only had this for 2.5 months and the frame shattered. Take your money else where or save it for higher quality. We are out over $500 and have no seating.
