This mattress came very quickly. It is solidly made & comfortable. My only complaint is the color. It was supposed to be brown ("cocoa linen") but the one I received is gray. This mattress is great. It comes vacuum sealed and rolled up so it is easy to move around. Once opened it takes shape fast and is ready to use in minutes. Ours looks great and is very comfy. It is thicker than other mattresses we have used but it is worth it for the comfort. This also means opening and closing the futon is harder just so you are aware. We did have one of the black decorations come off but we don't think it was the manufacturer's fault rather our excited dog. Overall this is a massive improvement to a cheap mattress while still being affordable, it looks great and was easy to get inside. We give it a perfect score ... show more

After reading some negative reviews, I was very relieved to see the final product. It arrived a day early. Despite my written instructions to bring to our porch, FedEx, left the heavy package out by our curb. It expanded immediately when unrolled. I have no doubt it will conform to the 8" description. Firm and supportive, not too hard, not too soft... The linen stone color is uniform throughout; not with the subtle stripes as shown in the listing. The third picture in the ad, with the fabric alone, is a perfect match. Very rich looking! It fit our full futon frame perfectly. The back of the mattress rises nicely above the back frame. Hugging one's head, it is comfortable and relaxing - even to a tall person. It's so nice to receive what was promised, and even better, when it exceeds my expectations! ... show more

*3 week update- Took about 6 days from purchase to arrive. Came in a large bag rolled up. Isn’t totally vacuum sealed just tightly rolled. Once I removed the inner shrink wrap around it almost immediately came right back to a full 8 inches! About 7 1/2 along the outside rim but exactly 8 inches in the center. Fit perfectly on my full KD Studio frame I also got from Amazon separately It is as firm as expected as I had innerspring futon before. Will be perfect for seating and more firm for sleeping. There was no smell other than the newer linen smell that’s expected with any new furniture. as reported by others the Aqua color is a little more like a blue Jean color but still noticeably teal tint to it. The material is very high quality with a different fabric on bottom that stops it from sliding around. It’s stays put no problem on natural wood frame. I can’t speak to how comfortable the fabric is tho as I use afityed sheet and very thin topper on it. I have a total of 3 weeks of sitting and sleeping on this. I’m 6’3” 195lbs and it’s the perfect level of firmness for me. Doesn’t show any signs of wear or denting even tho I’m a side sleeper. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a firm, sturdy, and stylish futon with innerspring. ... show more
