  • Very Pleased ... So Far
Color: Black Style: Single
I have only had the camera for a short time and am still trying to figure out all of the options. But, so far I am quite pleased with the camera - cost vs quality if very good.

Not sure why a lens cover was put on this camera because it won't stay on. Otherwise a very good camera.

  • Don't bother, just use a smartphone
Color: Black Style: Single
Sometimes I don't bother to write a review about an item unless my experience with that item was so amazing, or so poor, that something had to be said about it. My experience with this camera was definitely the LATTER. I was borrowing a relative's name brand smartphone that was released in 2017 to do some product photography for an online business I run. In order to stop creating such a hassle for the phone's owner, and to hopefully upgrade my photography game, I bought this. What a mistake. Compared to a smartphone that was released in 2017, five years ago, this camera was like 10 times worse. I could not get it to focus properly when taking pictures for the life of me. The subject would look very focused in preview screen, and then as soon as you pushed the shutter button, all hell would break loose. Even if you attempted to focus the lens prior by halfway pushing the shutter button, it made no difference. After transferring about 30+ photos taken of the same object to my computer via an SD card (and by the way, it doesn't come with an SD card, so you have to scramble for one in order to even use the camera), I noticed out of dozens of photos taken, only TWO were properly focused and usable. Nearly 99 percent of all photos taken with a smartphone from five years ago are clear and focused, so I saw absolutely no reason to bother carrying and maintaining heavy equipment like this, and simply returned the item to Amazon and upgraded my smartphone. If an item whose sole purpose is to take pictures underperforms relative to a phone that only takes pictures as ONE of its functions, you know this item has a problem. I doubt the issues lies with my usage of the phone, I took all shots I tested under natural daylight, I waited until the focus indicator turned green, and I tried different modes. This was just not a great, user friendly camera and I highly recommend anyone just use a recent smartphone instead. Please, don't even bother. If you need a sophisticated, high end camera, especially for commercial purposes, consider splurging and buying a truly professional camera. If you need a functional camera that takes decent pictures, just use a smartphone. I regret wasting time on this item, and I wanted all potential buyers to know about this experience. ... show more

  • Great bang for your buck!
Color: Black Style: Single
Bought for a safari to Tanzania in Oct. Needed good zoom and close up. This camera gave both. For a camera that runs off 4 AAs it delivered and then some. We ended up with some amazing shots of once in a lifetime events. Can’t wait for the next trip to get more memories on “film”

  • Best Buy for the Price!!!
Color: Red Style: Single
This is the third Kodak I've purchased in the last 10 years. The first two were Kodak Share's and were great, but no longer produced. When I say the third camera a person has to realize that I use my camera heavy duty 7 months out of the year. I'm a field appraiser and do real estate tax appraisals for three different counties every year. As I'm doing my work I take pictures of any new structures or anything that would affect value of properties. Often that can mean as many as 50 per day. They took lots of wear & tear but held up really well. The first I dropped on a concrete walk. Needless to say, not the fault of the camera. The last one developed a problem in the spring lever that holds the batteries causing it not to stay closed well. I've spent the last three weeks with packing tape holding it shut! 🤣 Then I decided to try the new PixPro, which I ordered through Amazon with very quick service from the dealer. It's so closely made to my others that I don't think it will take any time to master! And even better magnification! 40x where my others were only 20x. I use this feature a lot as many properties are inaccessible with a normal range. My only problem that is preventing using it right away is the camera to computer downloading. With my previous cameras I could download my pictures with the days pictures dated and numbered 1 through the end. I could delete those pictures then start over the next day with 1 . I've not figured out how to master this and am planning on calling the company for help. Right now, if I delete 12 and delete, the next day will be 13, etc. I know there are lots of $$$cameras out there but for my use, Kodak can't be beat! I'll follow up with my service form the dealer if my concerned can be addressed. ... show more
