The legs look good on the bookcase my son made for me. He changed the way the legs were installed. I wish they would tell me what the legs are made of. It looks like oak but it must be some Southeastern sea wood.

I used these to replace 2in legs on my crate and barrel sofa and the difference is incredible. It’s like a brand new couch. The color of the legs is exactly how it appears in the listing pictures and I had no problems at all getting them to work with my furniture. Will definitely be purchasing more for my other furniture.

We had ordered 8” much narrower legs and they got loose and didn’t work well. They legs are much sturdier! Perfect!

We purchased a new couch that has short legs and everytime I went to sit on the couch it was hard to get back up because it was so low to the ground. I added these legs and it brought the couch up to the perfect height. The only down side was the pads that came with them. The legs came with a white skinny pad on the bottom already and I added the extra padded ones that came in the box but after a week or so they just smooshed and started sliding off the leg bottom when the couch would move. They definitely didn't help with the skidding of the couch. I ended up scraping them off the bottom of the legs with a palette knife and made a trip to Home Depot for some rubber screw in pads. Worked like a charm. No more skidding and they stay in place.
