My aunt is a postal worker. She delivers to many apartment complexes. A little girl that lives in her complex was so sad one day because all her friends had skateboards and would not share. Her family isn't very fortunate but this amazing little girl always has the best manners & is so thoughtful. My aunt knows my kids have been boarding for years & asked me to help her order a reasonably priced starter skateboard for the very deserving young lady (8). I cringed at the thought because I have spent a lot of money in this area & did not have high hopes for quality for something she could afford. The color and quality exceeded my expectations. I was also incredibly surprised that the wheels also light up! Well done for such an affordable board. I can't wait to hear how it turns out.

I used to ride a 7.5'' skateboard with longboard wheels until one of the barrings exploded and I couldn't get the trucks off. Since then, I've been riding budget penny boards since I'm primarily cruising. Went through two plastic ones in the span of a year and half (the most recent one being lost just a few days ago). Ordered this bad boy real quick and it's fantastic. A lot smoother / lighter / comfier than the plastic ones, and cheaper, too! From the little bit I've ridden it, I'm loving it. I'll report back in a few months as to how it's stood the short test of time, but right now I recommend this over the plastic boards

I really know absolutely nothing about skateboards but I ordered it for my son and it’s cute, seems well made and he loves it. A couple of people have pointed out though that the lettering on the top (griptape?) says KOON as opposed to the brand name KO-ON and when you say that out loud well… sounds like a racial slur so… Totally aware it’s spelled differently and that if I had paid attention before ordering I would have noticed. It’s advertised exactly that way but it didn’t dawn on me until someone else mentioned it.
