Bought it as a part of a Halloween costume for my younger brother. It was part of his costume from Red Dead Redemption. I saw some reviews say that the brim got a bit messed up in shipping but the one we got was packaged well and had no issues on that front. The hat looks great and served its purpose. It’s alright, feels pretty cheap but of course you’re only paying $15. I hated how it looked on my face, I do have sort of chubby cheeks and a round face and I was not into the fit of it at all. I waited too long to bring it to the post office now but I’m thinking it will look much better on my dad and he can use it maybe while he does work in the yard to protect his face. I definitely thought it could have had more of a “cowboy” hat shape to it but the material might be too soft for that. Anyways it’s a good basic hat for the price but was not my style! ... show more

Cheaply made, off centered brim, crown twisted and front not aligned with rear, broken wire at rear of brim. Came tightly folded in a small plastic bad placed in a large box with plenty of air bubble wrap. Thought about returning the hat but then thought of the cost. Thought about just throwing it away. Right now I am waiting for the glue to dry that I had to use on the cord that was supposed to be wrapped at the base of the crown. Oh, and yes, it is way to large. I have a large head and after reading some of the reviews, I ordered it in medium. Medium is just too large and there is no inside flap to hold a sizing strip. So I cannot make it fit properly. I will continue to wear my other hats and not sure what I will do with this one. Hope you have better luck if you purchase this hat. ... show more

This is a very nice cowboy hat for the price. I used it for a costume, but it seems to me that it would work for daily wear. It is a man’s size. It was a little loose on me, so I don’t know if it would work for a child’s costume. I have the grayish-tan colored hat. I think it’s very sharp looking for daily wear.
