  • Everyone should have one! This would be a great gift!
Color: Black Style: Twinpack
I love this light. I’ve always been a fan of knog products and am stoked to have this new addition to my new ebike! I love the different blinking or solid light settings. The shape helps it stand out to those around me. It is super easy to install, comes with multiple options for mounting, packaging is great, and it manufactured with some high germane materials. I love that it is rechargeable and the battery seems to last for a while (have only ridden at night a few times with this). This light is more about other people seeing me than me seeing them - I have another light for visibility, though this puts out a decent amount of light too. I hope this lasts me a lifetime! ... show more

  • Nice and bright
Color: Black Style: Front
Holds a charge for quite a while, even in cold temps. Great second light for bike commuting to be more visible in front. Love the charging idea and no cables. Seems a little pricey but quality is good. Get what you pay for.

  • Great idea let down by poor mounting design
Color: Black Style: Front
I bought a Big Cobber front and rear for use when commuting to work. I love that it offers a wide beam pattern that will be visible from the sides, and that it doesn't have to be mounted on the handlebars, where I don't have any room. But I was perplexed when I received the item. The curvature of the front mounting plate is so narrow that it doesn't come close to fitting the front of ANY of my bikes (and I have many), which are all made of carbon or aluminum and have wide steerers. The mounting plate seems to assume that everyone is riding retro steel-frame bikes with narrow tubing. Even with the longer elastic band, and even after installing the rubber "bumpers", I find the mount curves away from the steerer, making the mount loose and prone to constant bouncing. Knog should really add a disclaimer indicating that the Big Cobber won't fit most modern bikes. It's a shame, since I love the product, but consider it to be almost useless due to this fatal design defect. (Note that using it on the handlebars is not an option. Even if I had room on my handlebars, which I don't, this wouldn't provide the key benefit of the Big Cobber, namely side visibility.) Considering how much I spent on these units, I am sorely disappointed and frustrated. Also, the mounting plate for the rear light should include an angled piece of plastic or rubber so that the mount will be vertical (or at least close), when mounted on a seatpost. As it is, rear light is angled significantly downwards, because it follows the angle of the seatpost. This is especially significant when using the Big Cobber with a seat bag, as you lose a lot of the visibility. All in all, I feel like these are very basic design considerations that were totally overlooked. There was too much focus on the technology (which is great), and not enough on the practicalities of actually mounting the lights to a bike (which is essential to basic use). ... show more

  • The best bike tail light!
This is an incredible bike tail light. I have one of them on each of my road bikes. Extremely bright. Also, company stands behind their product 100%. The only tail light I will buy for any of my bikes.

  • Super concept - i had trouble fitting, exchange and bought the PWR Road
Color: Black Style: Front
I exhanged for the PWR Road - which is ideal for me re the Coober - Great Concept - i have a Cannondale Synapse -and it was hard to fit on my bike - i do not have round stays in rear and have a seat bag - so rear was hard to see did not want on my handle bars - limited real estate really wanted to put on steering tube but size and cables got in way But I like the way they worked - just a fitting problem - ... show more

  • Design needs work
Color: Black Style: Twinpack
The mounts for this light are flimsy and double for protecting the USB A charging port-extremely poor selection given the multitude of bike lights using USB C connectors. The o-ring that “secures” the unit is thin and I wouldn’t trust this on a trail ride-not for a $100 light. No provision for a clip either. The light itself is extremely powerful and with a good array of flashing options. Too bad the charging system and mount handicap an otherwise suitable light. Fix those issues and lower the price to about $75USD then Best Buy category ... show more

  • Bright Bright Bright!!
If being safe and being seen by anyone approaching from behind you, day or night is your concern. then this is the light! I ride my bike 30 miles 4 days a week in and out of shadows of trees, buildings... this light out shines day light!

  • Bright but quickly burns battery
Not exactly what I was hoping for. This light delivers some very bright flashes, has amazing viewing angles, and an impressive array of flash patterns that can be even further customized using a companion program. Unfortunately, the battery runs out very quickly! Their website lists a few expected run times for the various settings but they seem wildly off to me. For example the "rolling flash" setting supposedly gives eight hours of run time, but my unit only seems to last one hour in this mode. Additionally, the light seems to lose charge overtime regardless of whether you use it. For example, I've charged it and not used it at all for a week, then when I get caught riding a night I find the light is completely dead, while the $15 dollar cheapo rechargeable tail light I bought is still going strong after a week of constant use! This all might not be a problem if it charged quickly, but it usually takes 5-6 hours to get a full charge. Given the price and the fact it's whole marketing revolves around it having super energy efficient "Chip on Board (COB) LEDs", I expected a bit more out of it. All in all, if you don't mind charging your bike lights every night, this light may be great for you. If you're like me and only want to deal with charging once a week, maybe look elsewhere. ... show more
