I got these pliers specifically for my emergency tool kit. I also have all the larger pliers, but they stay in the shop. These pliers excel because you put a LOT of squeeze onto the part. The smooth jaws are great when you don't want to mar your work. On the flip side, the smooth jaws won't dig into your work when you need maximum grip. I'll start by saying these things are expensive [~$60 USD] and elusive. However, this is the best price I could find from a reputable seller. I bought this as a companion to my Cobra XS Mini. As expected, Knipex uses high quality materials. They are easily adjusted and the jaws remain parallel when opening and closing. They are the perfect size for hard-to-reach fasteners. If you are looking for a set of micro pliers, this is an excellent option [or the Cobra XS]. I will most likely purchase the 125mm counterparts as well ... show more
