First impression was awesome, feels like quality leather, sturdy, and minimalist. For the price, it’s a bargain! But, looking at the details, there were some flaws after testing and fitting in random various size knives from $10 to $700. The knife roll was missing a tuck-in for the strap on one side, strapping the roll do that some effort, sharp edges on the metal buckle that can easily be filed down, and 1 to 2 in short for 240mm guyuto knife. This knife roll bag is beautiful and smells of authentic leather. I feel like a master chef when I pull it out and it clearly impresses all of my friends and family. I do wish that the straps were slightly longer because I can barely close it when it is full of 6 knives + a honing steel, but I am able to on the last hole for the prong in the buckle. ... show more

My daughter loves this to carry her current knives with plenty of room to add to her collection. I liked that it had a flap that covers the tips and how it rolls up and easy to carry without taking up a lot of room. Well made and sturdy craftmanship!
