I have to be non weight bearing for a month after my surgery. I researched so many scooters and if it was better to rent or buy. I personally decided that buying was the way to go for me. Hard part was what scooter to buy, there’s so many options! I settled on the Knee Rover Fusion Hybrid and yes it was a decent amount more. It’s been definitely worth the money, for so many reasons. The all terrain wheels in the front have been a lifesaver when out and about. If I could have I would have got the all terrain fusion model because of all 4 tires are rugged. I find that the walker wheel type tends to get stuck on so many things. But with the rugged front tires which are air filled have handle perfectly. The disc breaks work great no rubbing or high pitch noise that I read about in other reviews. The break works great no trouble applying or releasing it like I read in other reviews. The ability to move all wheels makes getting around easier and backing up, you can really move on this scooter. I found I had to keep slowing down while at the store because once you get going you’re zooming all over the place! The padding in the seat is better than several others I have seen and tested. I would recommend a seat cover though because it can get sweaty. I wish it had come with a basket for the price point but I had to purchase it separately. It was easy to assemble by myself and it’s easy to collapse to put in the car. I would definitely buy again or upgrade to the all terrain one.

We ordered one of these with reservations due to the price but figured we needed to make a good choice since I would be on it for a few months. My husband is very handy and knowledgeable but during assembly even he couldn't make the breaks not drag. It took considerable effort to push the scooter because of such. We tried adjusting the breaks, etc. and could not make it work. We thought maybe it was defective so we ordered another one hoping this time would be different but it wasn't. We followed the adjustment video to the letter and still couldn't make the breaks not drag and never got the hand break to work on either scooter which is a deal breaker. The maneuverability and the balance was excellent on this scooter but the work that has to go into adjusting this for the price point is insane. We almost brought it to a bike shop to adjust the breaks but with that price we decided it wasn't worth the time and extra money. It's really too bad because it seemed high quality and sturdy but just could not make it work without it being a hazard. Needless to say we returned it.

This item doesn’t come set up! It’s very heavy! The hot paint that I thought was the knee roller was just a junky little piece of plastic on each side! I’m returning it! Plus, it came three days too late

I recently had foot surgery. I purchased this scooter after falling with a borrowed one. Very pleased with the stability, comfort and control this one provides. I also like the fact that the brakes are controlled with only one hand brake—much easier.

Steering is not as smooth as in product videos on their website. They glide smoothly in their promos but in reality it’s a bit herky-jerky. If I had known the assembly was this annoying and involved I probably would have passed. The instruction manual is basically unusable. Photo diagrams are so dark it’s impossible to make out what it is trying to show you. Black parts with black frame and under exposed photos = frustration! Please if someone from Knee Rover monitors the reviews either send a link to a company assembly video or redo your instruction manual so we can actually see what you’re talking about. Better yet, send your product assembled ! How much more could the larger box cost?!? Stop putting the onus on the purchaser for building your product.
