It worked really well for my 4 year old when we purchased it in April 2023. However it had completely fallen apart by a year later. The instructions tell you it is not weight bearing, however, the stool was directly in his way to climb into his car seat that sat in our GMC Acadia. It was difficult to keep my 4 year old from using it to give himself a boost, and as he grew, the foot plate cracked in two along with the support stand. We are planning a trip and he has been complaining of his legs falling asleep. Unfortunately, we cannot justify the price to replace it. I would be willing to spend $100 if I knew it was made out of sturdier material and was weight bearing since it does hinder a child being able to climb into his/her car seat. ... show more
